Some years ago, Weatherby made a commercial where they shot a Master lock with a .308 Winchester and then a .300 Weatherby Magnum. The shot with the .300 Weatherby completely disintegrated the lock into a hundred pieces. I have not been able to find the commercial since.

It's a real shame that they don't do product-demo ads much anymore. Regardless of the methodology used, the point of the ad was to demonstrate in no uncertain terms the durability of Master's products, and anyone who saw that ad and bought a lock sure as hell remembered it when the time came to choose one to buy.
