I put rocks up against the wall itself iinside so no......but you need to be careful for sure and no need for a big fire

awesome job, i built one of these and left it up as an emegency fall back shelter in the back country in case while hunting i lost track of time i could spend the night in relative comfort, it lasted for years.

Cool!

Make a wicked smokey fire inside the shelter. Close up the front and let the smoke permeate the whole shelter. Like 95% of the bugs will all take off. Works great.
