Awesome, Awesome job matching a prefect song to a perfect movie. I saw DTOMD when it originally aired on TV and everytime it was replayed. And boy, did hit a nerve. I don't think there has ever been a more REAL movie made about the struggle to come out in a so-called 'Perfect' family when the entire world is telling you that everything you are feeling is wrong. Thank God times are getting a little easier for kids to come out. It should be played in every school in the country.

Here goes.I saw this movie when i was 16,it was a sunday morning and "came out" to my mother and twin sister later that day.The movie had saddened me so much i didn't want to end up like him. i wanted my family to know who i was.My mom kept telling me "u don't know what i like" that i was too young to know anything.My twin sister was more accepting and i am grateful for that.my older sister didn't speak to me for a very long time but i still went to the prom with her friend-as her friend's date.

I fucking LOVE this movie. I remember I first saw it with my sister when i was about 14. I've always thought of it.

PS: I think the music choice is fucking radical. What the song is about is exactly what the film is about. Very appropriate.
