I honor you for making this video. People hate gays becuase they make them uncomfortable (god forbid). I'm an ally, and I've had to take in friends who have come out to thier parents and have been viciously abused and beated because of it. All in the name of 'Christian love'. It makes me so sad. Neutral on this issue. If two people love one another enough to devote theirselves to marriagae, why deny that. I do beleive that it is completely unnatural. Humans are animals, and how many animals have been found to be homosexual? If my son or daughter were gay I would still love and support them, but I would joke and mess with them every chance that I got. Gay marriage should be a state law, and if the state that I live in were to allow or not allow gay marriage, I would be fine with either.

As a matter of fact, sometimes they are afraid because of guilt. Not because it's wrong, but because they don't want to disappoint their friends and family. They fear because of closed minded bigots, you know, kinda like yourself. They may be afraid what people say about them, but not because they think it's wrong. Gay kids have especially good reasons to be afraid, it's been shown that on average, they hear about 25 homophobic comments a day, JUST at school.

Try reading real facts, sexuality is determined through 4-5 different developmental processes in the brain, some starting before birth. Check up on your neurology.

taking away a persons marrital rights because of their orientation is no different than taking away someone's rights because of their race or gender... the ONLY valid reason to deny gays marrital rights is because of religion, which you say nothing about in ur comment. u are a no better than a racist... and in america everyone, no matter their race, gender, orientation, age, size, or intelligence is guarenteed equal rights. if u dont believe me, read the Constitution.

a person cannot just become gay because of an experiance in their life. there are gay animals in the wild. in fact i have seen two male wild deer having sex. do u think animals have the inteligence to choose their orientation?...no, animals act purely off of instinct.

it is terrible that people discriminate against gays for many reasons. it is a proven fact that homosexuals are born gay. it two peoople of the same sex want to have an intimate relationship, that is their bussiness and nobody elses. u r incorrect in sooo many ways. homosexuality is not a condition it is an orientation.

The truth of the matter is...it wasnt a gay attack on an individual - it was a robbery on an individual that became botched and turned into a homicide- None of his attackers knew he was gay -lets not make Mat Sheppard a spokesman for Gay rights....sorry for the loss...Being gay is a choice..not a "have too"..>Just my opinion max - peace

Matthew was "picking up" two guys. They KNEW he was gay. They even used the exuse in court that Matthew did wrong to them because Matthew hit on them!
They knew he was gay, it WAS a hate crime, and you trying to make it anything else is just as disgusting and hateful.
