I'm currently reading her book "Normal i just a setting on your dryer" I found it in a box of stuff at a garage sale...i didn't even have a clue as to what it was about but i judged a book by its cover and ended up falling in love with it!! Her adventures remind me of crazy things my bestie and i have done.
God said "let there be light", but what's the light source? If God meant the sun or the stars, then why not just say so in the Bible? This proves the Genesis myth is just bullshit and utterly unscientific.

Before sun or moon or stars were made, God was there, and manifested light into the universe. I will take the Bible over EVILution any day.

As for being desperate - its true that at one time I was, but then I came to know the LORD Jesus and have since known His love, grace, peace and joy, and therefor no longer desperate

Since your dear Patsy shared this story with us last weekend at the Anaheim WOF conference and said you sometimes check and see how many people are watching it, I wanted you to know how much God's word meant to me. I have a dear friend suffering from clinical depression and I feel so helpless with her pain. This encouraged me sooooo much. God has made a plan and a way and not deserted us.
I am praying for you, Carol. I will see you one day and rejoice with you about His tender mercies.

Second of all, the "light" referenced in John was clearly metaphorical.
