  • Let there be light the first thing ever

  • Just been diagnosed with cancer, and this word from the Lord thru you is for me...thank you so very much for loving the Lord and sharing and I love to listen to you at Women of Faith

  • I love Patsy!! Her stories and her testimonies are amazing, and I never get tired of listening to them!!! I listen to this particular video all the time!

  • I am so blessed every time I listen to this! A great reminder of how The Lord's timing is perfect! Praise his name!

  • 4:45-5:05....cracks me up!!! I'm currently reading her book "Normal i just a setting on your dryer" I found it in a box of stuff at a garage sale...i didn't even have a clue as to what it was about but i judged a book by its cover and ended up falling in love with it!! Her adventures remind me of crazy things my bestie and i have done.

  • I miss my gramdma :/i listen to this all the time! <3

  • Get her audio presentation from Focus on the family--"God Uses Cracked Pots"

  • Ah Patsy! Remembering Carol. Loving God! Loving you! Thanks for this timely reminder this morning. I needed a little "let there be light" today!

I continue to pray for you, for Les, for your ministry. Diana

  • God said "let there be light", but what's the light source? If God meant the sun or the stars, then why not just say so in the Bible? This proves the Genesis myth is just bullshit and utterly unscientific.

  • @gupsphoo 1 John 1:5 "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." Before sun or moon or stars were made, God was there, and manifested light into the universe. I believe God is creator and that He created all things; you believe that life came from non-living material, or one might say, life from a piece of 'rock'. God or a rock? Who believes the myth here? I will take the Bible over EVILution any day.

  • @FLAMEROX777 First of all, John was written thousands of years after Genesis. If it was meant to be a clarification, it would have been too late.

Second of all, the "light" referenced in John was clearly metaphorical.

    Try again, desperate Christian.

  • @gupsphoo - You seem to dismiss the idea of the BIBLE being the veritable Word of God which, if it is indeed God's Word, and God being Eternal in His power and knowledge, the Scriptures then must be viewed as an integral whole and not the independent, individual surmising and cogitations of the writers (emanuenses). As for being desperate - its true that at one time I was, but then I came to know the LORD Jesus and have since known His love, grace, peace and joy, and therefor no longer desperate

  • @FLAMEROX777 Your last comment presented no evidence whatsoever. All you did was proving how gullible you're to believe nonsensical text from thousands of years ago.

    Good job, my dear Christian.

Oh by the way, if your god was already a light source, then why did he even need to create light? LOL!!!

  • @gupsphoo ...You have to know Him or want to know Him to understand how marvelous He is and what a light He is...please search and you will see!!!! God Bless

  • what happened to god uses cracked pots? that was hilarrrrious, and I can't find it anybody got it out there, please post all of it there are two parts!

  • Patsy is my favorite speaker at the women of faith conferences. She is amazing!

  • Thank you so much for that powerful message about your friend and the message of "Let there be Light" It touched my heart. God Bless you Sister.

  • If "god" said "Let There Be Light", would that make "god" the "Light Bearer" or "Bringer of Light".

So, wouldn't "gods" name be Lucifer then?

  • I love you Patsy, my sister in Christ. Still a fantastic story. Praise God for His comfort and how He loves us and knows us.

  • Dear Patsy and Carol - I heard this message in Atlanta, and spoke very briefly to Patsy. Thank you, Patsy, for your strength in telling your dear friend's story. My mother, Jane, is dealing with the same type of cancer recurrence right now. This message is amazing and hopeful, and the story made my dear mom Jane laugh with joy. As we celebrate her 77th birthday on 9/29, please know that you will both be in our prayers. May you have strength and peace, joy and comfort....and light.

  • I was so blessed to be a part of the WOF conference. When Patsy shared this story I cried. It's amazing how God knows what we need to hear. God bless you Carol and "let there be light" Thank you Patsy

  • Since your dear Patsy shared this story with us last weekend at the Anaheim WOF conference and said you sometimes check and see how many people are watching it, I wanted you to know how much God's word meant to me. I have a dear friend suffering from clinical depression and I feel so helpless with her pain. This encouraged me sooooo much. God has made a plan and a way and not deserted us.

I am praying for you, Carol. I will see you one day and rejoice with you about His tender mercies.

  • Hi Carol...Thank you for allowing Patsy to share your story with so many people! She told us that you come on to see who might have been touched by your story, and let me tell you, I was mightily touched! May you continue in your recovery, may your 'light' continue to shine for many years to come! Thanks Patsy for your wonderful ways! (Even IN aluminum foil! :D ) We love you so much, and thank you for sharing God's love with us!

  • Excellent account. Our God is amazing.

  • i saw her do this talk this past saturday...she was even wearing the aluminum foil coat! it was wonderful!!

  • Thanks so much for coming and sharing this with us in Boston. I have a friend like your friend Carol because I am the "verbose" one in our relationship. How strange that all weekend while at the conference I couldn't form simple sentences! I just opened my mouth and nothing came out. I am sure I am not the only one who has passed on a message that they didn't understand at the time. Thanks to you and your porch pals for the light you have been in our lives. God Bless you.

  • How we need more of this, thank you Patsy! To keep our eyes on the Creator - our Hope who loves us dearly. Being a cancer survivor myself, this blessed me deeply. May God bless you richly as you continue to share His hope to others.

  • Patsy does have a way with words. She can express so much wisdom and humor at the same. A wonderful lady who speaks with passion!

  • Thanks, Patsy, for sharing yourself with so many and for honoring our God. Yeah God!

  • We serve a mighty, sovereign GOD!

  • I love Patsy! She's awesome! I went to WOF this summer in Omaha, NE. She's hilarious but also heartfelt. Great video!!!
