ABOUT THE MONSTER HE WAS TALKING ABOUT...

STARTING ON DAY 9, EVERY ODD NUMBERED DAY YOU RETURN TO THE IMPACT SITE (i.e. 9, 11, 13 etc) a grey, rockish monster/boss called the mamuta will apear. it is harmless and doesnt kill pikmin, but instead turns them back into sprouts you must pluck. if you dont attack it, it doesnt hurt you and lets you by. ON EVEN NUMBERED DAYS YOU RETURN (i.e., 10, 12 etc) A LIQUID-LIKE BOSS WILL APPEAR. IT HAS NO FACE BUT HAS TWO NUCLEAS INSIDE IT.

The mamuta is a good thing. It turns your pikmin into flowers, which is basically this games version of upgrades.

The Silver pearls in the clams are worth 50 Pikmin. Half of what you would get from the Golden pearl in the smoky Progg.

Yah it's a Mamuta. He crushes your pikmin into the ground making them flowers. You can kill it or just ignore it.

hmmm interesting use of your time i just finished killin the captain olimer or wateva his name is and i only had 27 parts.... either way i recomend that u use the c stick to form them into an orderly line behind you so they dont fall down off the edge

yeah if you colect your pieces fast enough and you go to the impact crater early you don't have to worry about fighting any one except the pearly clamp clamps

i had a cheta guide for this game and still have it somewhere and it saidd on day 9 and above if yoru on an even number the blue one will apper and on odd days the gray one will apper

I HATE the big blue dude, the grey dude is easy, the big blue dude SUCKS. But the pearls were worth it, cuz now I have over 1000 of each color Pikmin. Unfortunately, I've only gotten like, 5 parts and I'm on day 29.

The gray mamuta appears after day 9 on odd number days, and the drowning blue goolix appears after day 10 i think and appears on even numbered days

the goolix? that is easy. have about 20 or more blue pikmin and go to the goolix. he'll try to strech to you to attack or something, i dont know because my first time i was already thought out the plan. walk around that green orb and throw lots of blue pikmin on the apricot colored orb cuz that is his weakness. the more thats on him the slower he will get so when you are out of pikmin just walk around. be careful if one pikmin hits the green orb all the pikmin will be bumped off. your welcome.
