I imagine that, if Bella were the vampire and Edward were the human, it would probably be so much more complicated. She would doubt herself and she'd be all selfless because we all know how self-deprecating she can be. Edward would be kind of enthralled by that and would want her the same way as she wants him and it would all be really screwed up.

@sovoyita Oh yes, I agree with you about the self-deprecating thing that Bella does, but the only reason I chose the answer I said is because I also feel like when Bella really knows what she wants, she's very upfront about it. She knew the whole time that she wanted to be a vampire and it was one of the few times where she would put her foot down.
But very good points there! :D I hadn't thought about the way Bella views herself. That probably would change things.
