There is one good game that puts them together, though...apart from silent hill. Darkwatch...great game...Horror and Shooter as one...and it's not your average "Manly Shooter" either...it's actually got good story and some replayability. Graphics aren't as good as they good be...but who cares? It's a great game.

How can you be dissapointed in this gaming generation. The age old ever boring jRPG's are FINALLY slowing down, leaving only the best out there to please jRPG fans. Western RPG's like Dragon Age, Mass Effect etc. taking over, and deservedly. This is a great gaming gen, as finally some things are changing.

As well, although a bit frustrating at first, Dragon Warrior was good. And the reason to be a little disappointed is because we focus mainly now on shooters and new incarnations of old things...there's very little originality, though it is coming back.
