OK, think about the quality of Metallicas albums after the early nineties. Now look at Therapy's. And yet Saint Anger by itself has outsold every album in Therapy's post Troublegum catalog. I think we Americans may be as dumb as this song suggests.
I know that "Noisy yet catchy" is Therapy's forte, but this is incredible by even THEIR standards! Great riff,dark lyrics, crazy production and video. It's all here and it still sounds great. Or you can spend your money on New Metal.
I wouldn't compare Therapy and Metallica at all. Therapy is a great band, with "loyal" audience, their songs are smart and catchy, they are consistent and never disappoint (in terms of songs). Yet, they never entered the "mainstream" and they are still underground. I'm only not sure, when someone asks me, what they play :0) I wouldn't call it metal, nor punk-rock. I prefer to use the term "Hard pop"
