is it just me or did the 2k1 cycle faster? I'm not convinced, true they aren't terrible markers but they just aren't the same as a fully up'd cocker. Also the trilogy series signified the beginning of the end for WGP which makes a lot of cocker fans a sad panda. I never did get my hands on a black magic

i had a trilogy competition that i used to play woods ball with and it was way better than the tipman a5 which was what most of my friends had at the time. it hit harder and it was way more accurate. i have nothing bad to say about the trilogy series.....

Great Vid man, I've got a 2k6 trilogy pro with a cp reg, 14" dye ul w/ .692, kapp cocking rod, dye sticky grips, and an ndz on off Asa with rail. I've got to say my autococker is amazing! It is as good if not better than my bros 2k5 prostock with sto ram and palmers 3 way! My trilogy is an Absolutly amazing gun!

Mike tends to only like guns if they are either mid range or top-of-the-line. Any sort of low end or entry level gun he tends to blow off as junk. While there may be truth to that not many people can afford to get into paintball and buy a $500 gun as their first marker. :|

In my opinion the Trilogy kinda sucks. I'm talkin about PUMP guns. I had a trilogy pump, and it's true there isn't much upgrades for it. Played with it once, then I bought a WGP Orracle(way better gun). The trilogy was an alright gun if it's like ur first time playing

Nice Video. I about 10 years ago that trilogy was around 500 dollars. And actually the vertical feed use to be called the STO Autococker. And the side feed was stock. I love those guns. They can be very quiet.

Man, watching this vid makes me want an autococker! Here's my take on the trilogy just from watching this video (have never played with autocockers) Just from looking at the two guns I would take the 2k1 over the trilogy. It simply looks better machined and more professional. Its the same reason I would shoot an automag over a tippmann, they both get the job done but mags just feel like better built guns.

when u were explaining the upgrades in the vid u were naming all estechtic stuff and while the oracle front block does improve performance on a crap 2k1 cocker it is not gonna make a difference in relativity to comparison of a stock trilogy, if timed properly even a poor quality stock cocker with side feed could keep up with either of those again your comparison is invalid

It's a stacked tubed design that has not been changed for years, which means...all cockers can be tuned and upgraded very similarly. the reason why trilogies suck is because it has integrated pneumatics that are difficult to upgrade, therefore making them undesirable to the masses. fkiin troll

@ThatTolkenBrownGuy i think its a valid point. certain upgrades are designed for certain things. a beaver tail does not help you shoot straighter or faster or more efficiently. a ram upgrade may use less air.. may be snappier. and lpr upgrade may do the same. a new three way (depending on the one you get) may be adjustable for fine tuning your timing. a lighter blot reduces kick. a new valve increases efficiency and flow maybe a weight reduction. a new barrel may offer paint boar matching etcetc

By the way, your Trilogy is missing it's tail. It's supposed to have a beaver tail on it. Mine came stock with one.

i just got the wgp blackmagic autococker, i got it as my first gun, and it is a 2001 or 2003 series. its the one with flames. so let me know some tips, i know the regulator needs to be swapped cuz its crap, but what else should i do in terms of maintenence

They also make very cheap but nice pumps.

When I was working for a small Paintball Shop in Massachusetts when I was first playing tournaments...the owner of the small shop taught me how to time & tune autocockers (back between 1999 & 2002, when I was shooting Angels, which were like the top of the line back then) & one of the guys I was going to High School with at the time had an Autococker & it was REALLY high maintenance...I had to work on it for him before every single time he used it...
