Good shootin' sir. I believe I'm gonna get this exact bow. Found a really good deal on one. Is that a whisker biscuit you're using? How are you liking it? I'm debating whether to get one or not.
@aspltroop840 If you had taken the time to read the the description you would have read that the bow was right out of the box. All we added was the limbsavers. I shot it about 4 or 5 times before we made the video. I assume you actually watched the whole video. Did you notice the group? I subsaquintly took it to my local proshop and had the necesarry adjustment made. 4 deer later I think it's just fine. When you come back click on my ads! fyi it's "too" short not "to" short. "you're" not "your"
personally i don't really like pse that much, i like shooting bowtech and hoyt, but i'll be the first to admit that the bow madness is a great bow and im glad to have it as a back up bow.
pse are nice bow, but i like my hoyt. just got it and it shoot pretty good for me. I look at a few pse and bowtech but yea whatever fit you and the way you shoot or like it feel in your hands.
I like my xs !! It's the most whitest bow on the market, yours sounds like you need to tighten the little hex screw that holds the rubber bumper on your string silencer and some string leaches you'll be like ninja!
I shoot a 2011 PSE Bow Madness. My brother-in-law shoots a 2010 Matthews Reezen. My bow is absolutely not louder than his. You guys criticizing PSE need to realize that with archery, it's just a matter of finding a bow you like for yourself. Almost every company has quality bows. It's just personal preference. I shot a similarly priced Hoyt when I bought my Bow Madness... Guess what? I liked the way the PSE shot better. Same price. It was just MY PREFERENCE.
@tamaman7777 It's not where, It's were, deer are not human. so it's was. At the end of the day your bow is still loud as shit. Believe me I do not envy PSE. I shoot Hoyt, and I have plenty of deer in my freezer. I own 5 bows, PSE is not one of them, if I wanted one. You can bet that I would own one. With Fuse, Sims Limb savers, You can make that bow Quite. I don't see its worth all the money to. For about the same price tag. Bear. Diamond, and the G5 bows are half as loud. Out of the box.
@bluegrasssingingman Why are you so upset? What set you off? Not everyone drives a Chevy or has a Ranger Bass Boat. Everyone knows Mathews most expensive bows and Hoyt owners are convinced that Hoyt is the finest bow made. I don't understand the mentality of someone attacking another person because they chose to buy a certain product. I would like to congratulate you . Congratulations sir on being the very very proud owner of a Hoyt Bow.
Tamaman -- This video is almost 2 years old. Just wondering how you like your bow? I was thinking of getting one myself. Just wanted to hear some input from someone that has used one for a while.
@iowabucks I would recommend a PSE Bow Madness if you are looking for that middle of the line medium priced excellent bow. I would if I had to do it over get a bigger bow. This one is a little short for hunting from a climber. It tends to shoot high and to the right when elevated. Get all the bells and whistles too. I get negative comments about it being noisy. People don't take time to read that it was right out of the box.. That being said IMO PSE is a great bow. PSE is a "killer" for sure.
@tamaman7777 Stop your crying, it has a string stop and limb savers parts, and still loud as shit. You should of bought a Hoyt, or at lease a Bow Tec. If those shots was at a deer. The deer would be laughing at you, because he jumped your string, and all your over rated IBO SPEED is for SHIT. My Hoyt smokes your PSE, and has no noise out of the box.
@bluegrasssingingman A lot of your noise, is coming from your release. You are holding it, in a manner where its turned in. That is causing it to tork on your release.
@bluegrasssingingman Neither is a brand name dumb fuck. Hard work, time in the field and a well placed shot is what harvests deer. I dont know the ibo ratings on my bow (btw that shows how little i care about the ratings) i just know its smoother and prolly more quiet than yours.
@akydr You keep dreaming, I can't help it, if this PSE is loud as shit. Pretty much all PSE bows are loud, and hand shock from hell. That is just the way it is. So keep you're PSE, enjoy it. I'm a Hoyt Shooter, and always will be. So before you run you're mouth check what I said about IBO. Then go look up the history of Chuck Adams. Watch who you call names. Someday you will get you're teeth knocked down you're ignorant mouth. You are real brave behind you're computer. Then look up understanding
@bluegrasssingingman thats exactly what im saying go shoot hoyt let this guy shoot his pse dont sit and give him shit about his new bow cuz you like yours better. its all personal preference and just because its not the best bow on the market doesnt mean its not the best on your budget. and like i said just cuz its a hoyt or a pse or mathews doesnt make you shoot more deer. i havent said one thing about ibo so i dont see why you keep bringing it up.
@akydr Hey asshole All I said was his bow was loud. I can't help he got upset. You can eat shit buddy, because I don't care what you like,or want. If he was insulted tough. If you're insulted tough. I can't help it. That you all are so sensitive. For what I said about the IBO. That is why they buy PSE. Then their disappointed. They find out all they have is a loud ass bow, a huge hump,no creep, hand shock, all kinds of vibration. If you don't like what I just said, eat shit.
im not gonna say PSE is not a good company..but that bow is pretty loud compared to a mathews. And i dont like the cable guard.I like mathews rollerguards, especially the reverse assist roller guard they have on the Z series of bows.
got a question, im new to bows and was wondering if anyone knows a good value bow to start on?? I am 15 and reasonably strong so i dont think that draw weight is a massive problem. any ideas welcome as i dont know very much.
@MrFREDANG Bear and PSE make some really nice entry level bows.I recommend buying from an archery shop. Depending on where you live you may end up at a sporting goods chain like Dicks. Just be sure to inspect the limbs very closely for cracks because people tend to dryfire the bows. That's why it's best to find a bow shop. You can have all your accessories installed and have it tuned and your peep site put on.
@MrFREDANG Try out the Mission Craze. I am your age also and i got one a couple days ago. its a pretty sweet little bow. 19-30in draw & 15-70lbs. Plus mission puts the best packages on their bows.
i just got a new 70# f 2 maxis i love it and im only eleven but i can still pull it. i hit a g.i. joe dead in the chest from 30 yards yesterday i love my bow
yeah im buying one cant wait.... i just want to see the power behind it,,, i at the moment have a 60 pound martin cheetah sighted at about 45 metres,, is it defintely effective against big boars,,, yeah little bows are always good for hard to get places but, it is easier for your height to use bigger,,,, good shooting but!!!!
I recommend everyone "recommending" on this video, shut the hell up because this guy obviously has a dead-on accurate bow setup. No need to 'recommend" anything when you can shoot a 2 inch group with your bow.......dummies!
@laxlag16 Mine came with a WB it was fine. I just added a Trophy Taker fall away because they are just more accurate and I am not a great shot .You can tell a big diff. when you get out past 30 yards with the fall away rest.
a very nice bow indeed, but i believe you shoold be shooting a 32" axle to axle. for a man as tall as you, i think you'd find a 32" axle much more forgiving and easier to hold steady. I'm only 13 and i'm buying the axe 7, which is 32 1/2". just a tip for future
@TheBowhunter1990 I hunt mostly from a stand but occasionally I use my blind. That is why I went with the shorter bow. But you are right I need a taller one. I just got the bow to get me out in the wood more. When gun season comes I put it away.
i recommend you put on VaporTrail VTX strings and cables...make a real big difference..nice solid wall at full draw...draw cycle is even more smoother...no stretch or creep on strings..it actually gave me 10 fps like it said...not kidding...just had mines put on 2 days ago..shoots like a charm...
I had a mathews DXT and i couldnt shoot as far took it back and got this bow for a hell of alot cheaper and its better than the DxT. i shoot hell alot longer shot with this i think ill stick with PSE.
@DragonFire1170 its ok but a better bow thats smother is a pse vendetta i and geting one for xmas i cant wait and i am 14 and i am getting saten black with 50pound wait
man i got a diamond razor edge..it's pretty quiet at 60 lbs...it's fast too...i have shot a few other bows too..they nice but i liked this one cuz the smooth as hell draw!!
hey man nice group love the pse's. I see you made it a video resonse to my video wild hog hunting, thanks for that but you should have put it as a response to my other video "PSE Bow Madness XL"
Drop away rests are very nice! My dad has one I actually have to go buy one soon before elk hunting in september yeah the WB does lose a little accuracyd.
Nice group! How much are you pulling looks like a lot?? Yeah I just switched from alum. to carbon and man what a difference in grouping in now shooting groups the size of a half dollar. Im not a big fan of the whisker biscuit tho =/
Thanks. I had it tuned at a local pro shop. It was at 70 and we put down to 65. It came with a WB. I am going to put a Trophy Taker fall away on it after this bow season. The WB isn't so bad, I think you do lose a litte accuracy.
just so you know, you're not supposed to tell people to click on ads.
