  • Wow! A breathtaking performance from Ivan Vasiliev and Natalia Osipova! I love V. Vasiliev's end to Giselle. It has much more meaning.

Thank you so much for uploading this video!

  • volodia reserved for ivan the same danced final he used to do .great volodia great ivan

  • PLEASE post more of this performance. Who was the choreographer for this production? The ending is unconventional to say the least!

  • @raymonda100 This version is from Vladimir Vasiliev...!!

  • @raymonda100 actually ive seen the ending this way in many productions.

  • @bolshoiboy8 volodia used to do

  • @raymonda100 lol oh wait i didnt see those jumps... i hate those jumps, it takes away from the meaning of the ballet.

  • @raymonda100

Actually this is how the original score really ends. The slow version we get to see so often nowadays was specially arranged for the Anna Pavlova company, and somehow it has become the standard. Now, the original fast ending version has been, for example, always done at Cuban National Ballet. Vasiliev danced it when he performed with Alonso in Havana in 1980.

  • can u please upload his variation? do u have it? =)

  • @MrNocco Yes, I do! =)

  • @Deh280494 I would be SO happy if you could upload it! :D it would mean very much to me if you could find the time ^^
