  • Saw this twice on Broadway way back when. What a privilege.

  • THE MUSIC IS AWFUL, SOUNDS SO TINNY

  • how lucky is this ...cant get any closer

  • i just got done doing a chorus line but to be honest to whole hand hting at the beggining doesnm't look good at all

  • Envy, envy!

  • Family Guy intro xD

  • WOW! I could have sworn that this was regional or touring company! Great JOb

  • A Chorus Line is scored for a 16-piece orchestra: 4 reeds (all doubling), 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, 2 percussion, 3 keyboards, bass, piano. See Tams Witmark.

  • A Chorus Line is scored for 15 to 16 musicians (not a smaller combo)...and it's all winds (doubling), brass, keyboards, guitar, percussion (no strings).

  • This is community theatre? Amazing!

  • I miss Thommie!

  • i might've seen this one! It was amazing, though.

  • The best and last musical...before the over the top Weber productions changed Broadway.

  • Chorus line is a combo orchestra, which means its like 8 pieces, not 16, so "ginatrans " is a liar.

  • @TheJustin1791 See Tams Witmark. I've done the show many times. ACL is scored for 16 musicians: 4 reeds (all doubling, and THEN some!), 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, 2 percussion, 3 keyboards, bass, piano.

  • I thought it was fantastic!

  • we did alright didn't we?

    .

  • Well, it's not Broadway, but very impressive for a community theater/ high school musical. Good job!

But what's with the camera angle? The best spot at a musical is dead center because the choreography is geared that way.

    Still, very nice!

  • It's A Chorus Line and we're not pointing our feet in our jete? Really?

  • Does anybody know if that is Anthony Wayne playing Ritchie?

  • fantastic job

  • That was crazy fast! It's clearly a deliberate choice, and the choreography suits it, but I think the music suffers slightly. The valve trills barely even register at that tempo. Still: well done.

  • this is amazing.... where did you get your costumes? I'm doing a production of ACL and hard to find them

  • Actually, it's, "Dedicated to everyone who has ever danced in a chorus or marched in step. Anywhere."

  • ....dedicated to those among you who have ever stood on a stage and performed anyone - anywhere. Damn I miss it. Got too old. But doesn't that applause - instant approval - ring in your ears for the rest of your life. No other profession in esicatence has that.

  • Very precise! Don, I kept my eye on you the

    whole time.

    Three rules for performers:

    Pick up your cues.

    Pick up your feet.

    Don't fall off the stage.

    Tx 4 posting.

  • that was sweet

  • love it and they were great!

  • Wow, really good! I'm surprised!

  • Just got cast in a production of this and I'm so excited. This was an amazing job...little fast but very good :)

  • awesome kicks. best I've seen in all the productions outside broadway

  • closing nights are always the saddest...but the best :)

  • amen to that.

  • this is a community theatre production from grand rapids, mi

  • Very fun! Thanks for posting.

  • the best thing about community theater?? That there are still some souls willing to do it....BRAVO

  • the video is great, but i'm suprised you guys didn't hurt yourself. in the original choreography and in the finale, there are certain movements when you have to have particular angles with your arms especial in the "one, moment in her presence" in the final line. you guys kept your arms and elbows to the side and came very close to smacking eachother in the head. normally it's elbow angled forward and then lifted up and over to angle back when changin direction....but nice job lol.

  • I totally agree with you on this.

Poor little Connie Wong looked like she was about to get squished or hit in the face.

    Other than great job.

not better than my production. JK!

  • thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is pretty cool but personally i think it would have been better if you could have taken the video from the audience, because at this angle you can't see the mirrors. =(

  • i'm pretty sure this is the choreography of the real Broadway play, because when i saw the revival of the play it was almost exactly like this.

  • Hey this is pretty good!! in my hometown we r putting on this play right now and its awesome. My character is "Don"

  • wow!!! oh my goodness!!! can you feel those energy so high it was amazing!!

  • amazing

  • That was BEYOND amazing!

The tempo was too fast, but you guys were OUT OF THIS WORLD!

    :-)

    Bravo!

  • fab costumes.... the songs a bit rushed... and the coeography could be spoofed up a bit but great job (:

  • this was a good vid, a little things here and there i didn't care for, but it was good. always a plus seeing a group use the original broadway choreography.like others have commented before, the singing was a little off, but i think a lot of it was due to the tempo being WAY too fast. if it was slowed down to how it's suppost to be the singing would have been just fine. but all around nice work

  • Hi, WOW!!! Great show whether, Pro or Am. Very good.

    You should be very proud.

  • It took me a few to realize that this wasn't a professional show! Kudos!

  • It's not?!

  • I saw this the other day because of the braodway across america thing and it was OUTSTANDING!!! anyone who hasn't seen it needs to go and buy tickets right now lol This video doesn't even show how amazing the finale really is, u need to be in the audience to get the full effect. I thought that the singing and dancing were wonderful too especially with that kind of choreography!! :D

  • wow this was great. you guys sounded great all though out [which is EXTREMELY hard while dancing demanding choreography like that, and singing a hard song like that]

and you line at the end was good too

  • Yowza. Good work!

  • o wait nvm. I see from the comments this wasnt broadway! Is it some acting school?... cuz its some great vocals/choreography/costumes!

and how did you do this show swhile it was on broadway? Isnt that not allowed??? hm. weird.

  • wait woah...ur on b-way! i'd love to talk to one of you! Thats my dream!

  • Damn did you have Baayork in up in there or something? It's like the original choreography! I loved it!

  • Hi! can you tell me what is the title of the song.I need it for my project.thanks!

  • This song is called "One"

  • You forgot to mention Zach

  • God we were good : )

  • you were on b-way!?!??

thats my dream! How'd you do it! We must talk!

  • i heard like three voices... and they werent exactly amazing... need to work on blending!

  • Dude, they were filming from the wings...get a grip!

  • I am sorry... (sarcasm), then they should realize they are going to be gettting bad remarks on sound quality.... Its common sense. If the audience hears it then they are going to comment on what I hear... ( I am the audience right now and what I hear is bad blending... ) If they videotaped it from the audience and it was fine then I would be saying Bravo!... but they didn't so all I am is commenting on what i see and hear... sorry.

  • Sorry, i didn't write that.

    My arrogant sister did.

I thought it was really good! :)

  • I thought it was okay.

not the BEST but it was okay.

  • Excellent job. Some wonderfully talented folks. Very enjoyable.

  • Nice job, where was this performed? With all due respect, for 'Chorus Line' the orchestra should NEVER be visible because this an audition, the music is more in their minds than in the theater.

  • Wow!! That finale was GREAT!! You guys are lucky you have an orchestra..All we have is a VERY (thanks god) TALENTED piano player...but I suppose it'll add to the originality of the show? haha well A Chorus Line is definitely one of the best broadway shows you can perform!

  • broadway...open your eyes and ears...no orcherstra

  • Indeed, this is not Broadway. The orchestra however we did have and it is where it should be, in the pit. It was a full 16 piece orchestra and the reason you cannot hear all of it is because the camera was set up right next to the monitor the piano was feeding through. Glad you so enjoyed the video!

  • @Ginatrans ya uh...most do...its under the stage....depends what musical you're doing....this one had one...

  • awesome job!

  • this is great! i enjoyed it ..... i love a chorus line...recently in my dance recital i preformed in i hope i get it...and some of the other student did "one"

    check out my videos

  • of course this isnt broadway... open your eyes...

  • is this broadway

  • the mens vocals a really good. girls are good tooo. the dance is good but more rehearsal and they clould be like really great! this is one of the best amateur versions of seen of a chorus line. probably the best! they seem all really dedicated! GREAT JOB!

  • umm how can YOU call these guys amateurs ??? awesome job

  • amateur means not professional.

  • an "amateur" performer means that they don't get paid to perform - not that they act like that though...

    wicked job!

  • Wow! Great job. I love this number... I was Mark in a college production a million years ago.

  • sorry im stupid didn't read it right

  • what do you mean by closing night?
