The people who CHOOSE to watch TYT on YouTube probably had to go out of their way to even find it. I think the difference is that one of them claims to be a NEWS network. I mean, I do think that Fox does deliver news, and there are legitimate journalists there. But even some of their news programs (not the commentary programs like O'reilly, Hannity, Beck) seem to have tones of opinion sometimes amounting to bias. The Young Turks is a commentary show about the news. They don't claim to report anything as news. And it's because they aren't a NEWS network that TYT puts out "fluff."

First of all the difference between Fox News and TYT is that TYT is a show which features purely Liberal commentary and they have openly stated that they are Liberal whereas Fox News is purely Conservative but still attempts to project that they are "Fair and Balanced". I would again like to emphasize the fact that they are self-proclaimed COMMENTATORS. Also Ana does ENTERTAINMENT commentary, TYT was made for entertainment.

In addition they tell you when it's there opinion on things and try and give credit where it is do and see both sides of an argument, if you were to wtch there video's you would see this first hand. I think the difference is that one of them claims to be a NEWS network. I mean, I do think that Fox does deliver news, and there are legitimate journalists there. But even some of their news programs (not the commentary programs like O'reilly, Hannity, Beck) seem to have tones of opinion sometimes amounting to bias. The Young Turks is a commentary show about the news. They don't claim to report anything as news. And it's because they aren't a NEWS network that TYT puts out "fluff."

Except TYT doesn't claim to be "fair and balanced", nor does it claim to be a news channel. It knows it's an opinion commentary show, which I'm fine with. Otherwise, yes it is just as biased, but I've never actually heard them say that they didn't have a political agenda.
