I remember watching at my grandparents house Dr. Who. Their AC (window shaker) would nearly freeze me even in the summer. This developed my love of Sci Fi. Memories I will never forget.
This song brings it all back to me. Very well done.
sadly its been two full decades of my life and I am discovering the amazing Dr. Who Truth be told I always loved the theme song but The show itself is not were i fist stumbled upon it, it was this very remix Bam Margera used on his hit film HAGGARD it was the scene where Falcone & Valo were messing up Glaurens house at night followed by other hillarious obscenitys thats not whats important Dr. Who is awesome and this remix is good for brainstorming or foolin around at night.
@Tokiyoshi1 Ironically the Orbital Concert version is better. This one lacks emphasis. Probably so that those who utilize equalizers can manipulate it how they like. Still the In concert version seemed near perfect, save the audience.

@GasserVsGoodyball garrrrrrr! I hear it!!! I am curious, did the master eat the two people in the stand or did he killed them just to kill them? I sort of kind of never figure that out.
@InGallifrey Im pretty sure that he ate them to sustain his own life force because it was draining so rapidly....also it was kinda funny (although creepy) when afterwards he yells: "DINNERTIIIMMMEEE!!!!" lol I loved the end of time
@GasserVsGoodyball mhmm, I sure miss him :c... The only thing that keeps me calm is that I know that his clone is still alive in a parallel universe with Rose.
@InGallifrey yeah it was pretty awesome when she came back ( if only temporarily) with a laser, also it was pretty awesome that they ended up with the "and they lived happily ever after" ending :)
@aph3xv7 No if you take the Blue Pill the story ends. You take the red pill – you stay in Wonderland and orbital shows you just how deep the rabbit-hole really goes, Therefor it tastes like Red.

@DJPriest I'm not 100% on this but I believe Orbital were commissioned (or at least allowed) to remix this and the BBC have used it on Dr Who related shows but this is 3rd hand not direct knowledge. The track is actually "Doctor ?" fwiw
Actually, the BBC Commissioned Orbital to do the Dr Who theme for the 40th Anniversary of the series...and this is what resulted. So, they have already been paid, no royalties required.
@DeamonStorm666 You don't need to start with "actually" as your post agrees with mine. The dates you mention are a bit out though - Orbital did do a remix for the 40th (called Doctor Who?), however, Doctor Who the series started in 1963 (23rd November) and Orbital released their first remix (Doctor ?) on the album "The Altogether" in May 2001 - 2.5 years before the 40th.
@ThePocoamisto Your right there Its so bang on I would love to see the audio put on a good video of Orbital live in concert where the croud are really into it. This is often a person's first encounter with orbital so show them Who made the track and what they do how they do it e.t.c ANYONE?

@SurvivalistCrutch There are 2 main live versions from what i have seen so far.
The one with the doctor saying "One day i shall return,..." and the other being asked "what are all these lights?" etc, from a past Glastonbury.
I think the second is just perfect.
I can't seem to find the video anywhere though.
