  • Guys if you don't got the boat don't say it sucks. I got one that looks just like the one in the video and it rocks. It's a 1999 byliner Capri that is 195 and got a 3.0 engine. And it kills 50 mh and will last you the whole day going 45mh on full tank just get one and test it out there worth about $8500 that are in good condition trust me If you get it u won't regret it very nice boats.

  • Lack of features does not mean cheap piece of crap. They are no-nonsense boats for no-nonsense boaters. If you want a yacht, go buy a yacht and stop complaining! The hull is good, the engines good, what more do you really need?

  • i have a 2005 and it runs very well! the bay liner is a entry level boat if you want more boat you will need to pay more . the boat trailers very well w/ my f150 rides nice and have not had to put any extra into maintenance. i would recommend this boat to any one getting started in boating

  • sucks

  • Love mine, like anything take care of it and it will last.

  • @richrunner4life1 how much does it cost?

  • Looks very simillar, but slighly smaller to my 1997 Capri 2050. Nice boat.

  • Bayliner Boat's are cheapo garbage, the interior's seats are made of paper and will be shot in 1 summer.

  • Seems just like the Bayliner 175 40th Anniversary edition.

  • It probably just looks like that in the video. However, the 195 is *much* bigger than the small 175. I have the 185 and it dwarfs the 175 sitting next to it. Its wider, longer (obviously) but also sits much higher in the water. the 195 has a bigger bow seating than the 185. You can really sit several adults in the bow.

  • I know, I was going to get the 195 at the international boat show but wanted it to fit in my garage so we looked at the 175's and found them cheaped out with no viynl on the sides, carpet or any "extra" features that are offered in the older models, so I looked around and found a 1996 Bayliner 175 in imaculate condition for only 7,500 Canadian in January and it is the 40th anniversary edition so it has all of the extra features (caroet, viynl, wooden dash, rap around glass, ect.)

  • this is more of a commercial than a boat test.

  • what year is this?

  • cassette stereo system???

  • Yes, they phased out the 8-track players last year.

A Bayliner like this in 2009 can put you on the water for under 20k. They have their place in the market. for lots of folks. This is the right boat for their use and play style. Some people just can't afford to go into years a debt for a boat they may use 15 - 30 times. If you are going to use a boat every weekend for years and years, then yes spend the big bucks.

  • shit

  • bayliner= cheap cheap cheap, only wieghing 2000pds tells that.

  • No duhhhhhh. Its not a cheap boat. Its called a RUN ABOUT not a fat ass boat that you put your 1000 lbs ballasts in.

  • Mine does 54 mph with the 190 hp engine. That's pretty fast in my book. Faster than I"m comfortable going in most locations.
