u got lucky. next time "climb" the leashed line FAST to the kite and keep all the lines AWAY from your body..anything goes wrong in the way you did this and your kite powers up just a little bit and youre tangled in the lines, getting cut, AND getting dragged out to sea. Could it have been possible to body drag ALL the way in with your kite in the air and then, standing in the rocks, put your kite on other side of window (ocean side) and THEN hit your release? good you stayed calm and no damage!
