You know how they actually built a Harry Potter theme park? I'd like to think that in some parallel universe, Grim Fandango was so popular that they built a seaside resort modelled on Rubacava. How awesome would it be to vacation there for a few days?

@gobbledygookie In Spain they don't have any accent (they just sound Spanish). I remember some of the characters had Argertinian accents, like Domino Hurley or the guys at the Blue Casket. Did they too in English?

The first time I ever saw this cut scene it blew my mind. This is easily one of the greatest Computer Games ever. The bit in Rubacava, year 2, is the best bit I think.

This not completley same version..and that is important :) its just based on Blue Hector, cause the sax goes upwards in a unique laidback way that isnt present elsewhere

Jesus, I love this game. I bought it and played it, but I lost the CD. It's been years and I really want to play it again. I downloaded the game and disc 1 works, but disc 2 doesn't. I reached up to this part and I really want to play but it won't work. Ugh!

It is a linear game with no post-game extras or carryover items. You play it, you finish it, you enjoy the hell out of the ride.

Then years later you experience it again, and discover new details. It is like a movie in that way. You are not supposed to play it back to back.

Kind of. You need to download the grim fandango launcher from mixnmojo, manually copy the files so it works directly from the HDD, and then set the affinity to a single core if your machine is a multicore, or hyperthreading machine. Then it'll work but it'll crash often.
