@Arnarkusaga Kuchipudi style involves mouthing the words because it comes from a drama tradition. You will observe this in other Kuchipudi artists as well.
This is not Bharatanatyam in case there was any confusion.
@Arnarkusaga The only art form with lip movement is kuchipudi and it is bhagavatham which means that they are servicing the god with their songs and all...In earlier days they used to sing themselves and dance without any plyaback singing.And lip movement will never be distracting and in fact it takes u much closer to god as you feel like you are singing.But one should know the art of giving lip movement to look natural.Otherwise it looks odd....
It would help of she didn't mouth the words. It's distracting.
