@DannieNicole I think it's just how she learned. I do it too and it helps me concentrate, no visual distractions, just my thoughts and the song I'm singing. If you find a song you like to sing along with and do it eyes open and again eyes closed, I think you'll feel how different it is. Also I find that more personal parts of the song I tend to close my eyes moreso than the basic parts, so maybe it's a privacy thing.
