Yes. there were different branches of Christianity throughout the 1st 2nd and 3rd century, but the one that became the most dominant was the one that invited and accepted other non Christian(pagan) religions, hence The Roman Catholic Religion which later became even the most powerful as it became both church and state.

I don't think you heard her correctly. There were only 13 leather bound books containing 52 individual texts. Each leather bound book contained several texts.
