  • Yes. there were different branches of Christianity throughout the 1st 2nd and 3rd century, but the one that became the most dominant was the one that invited and accepted other non Christian(pagan) religions, hence The Roman Catholic Religion which later became even the most powerful as it became both church and state.

  • Was the population really 3/4 slave? That's a crazy big portion

  • So there were different "Christianities" in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd centuries !

  • Well before everything was unified under Rome there were a lot of different churches and they pretty much went their own way
