this has to be one of the best intro to a song ever!!!, but spoils it when he sings but still good song, just would be better if there was no singing in this song of Bowies
info for "weedwasser".......the patent applied for was for a synthetic heroin (a substitute) hence methadone, which the german chemists at bayer named physeptone. this drug altough as youve mentioned can be found in cough mixture form, is more common (in england anyway) as tablet form (5mg only per tab). its benefits are that it releases itself slowly and therefore stays in a persons system a lot longer than diamorphine hydrocloride (heroin). this is the reason it is given to addicts........
I saw Bowie in May of 1978 at the Spectrum. he announced that "the last time we were in Philadelphia,we recorded a live album. We're going to do another one tonight."
The album became known as Stage, and some the the songs were used from that show.
Christiane F is one fucking gross chick. How could anyone regard her as a role model? That movie was very realistic, but I guess people want to emulate the dregs of society.
SUPREME!!! From Argentina, I just bought the Original Soundtrack of the film, already having the Berlin Trilogy, just for this Station to Station version. WORTH IT !
elgrrover.....good fuckin' job. I have looked 4 this version of this song 4ever. 1984, oahu, HI. I found a cassette on sale in the 'special' bin. $2.99, it was called Christina F. soundtrack. I had no idea what I was buying. I was blown away........

Good movie, great soundtrack. The only bad thing about it is it doesn't have the full versions of TVC15 and Stay
