Hogwarts allways be in my heart. We are Harry Potter generation! thank you Jo! You made me happy all those years from the first page and i love you so much. I couldn't imagine my life whitout Harry,Ron and Hermione. 'Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home' and it's true, realy
Trying not to cry 'cause my sisters has guests. Pressing my fingers against my lips. "damndamndamn". Then I start shaking, looks around and burst into tears. Joe is fantastic.
Sincerely, proud of being a Potterhead and owing my life to this woman.
I think "Hogwarts will ALWAYS be there to welcome you home." sends every Potterhead to tears. I just think about it and I have to duck and hide cause I just want to burst into tears.
"It was real. It did happen. We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us. Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders, and it's going to be around long after we're gone. Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day. That's the thing about Hogwarts. No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back." - Darren Criss pretty much summing up the whole end of Harry Potter.
3:20, when the crowd starts chanting "Thank YOU!" is when I always begin to cry watching this video. Though, of course, when it was happening live, I was sobbing wreck the minute she stepped up to the mic.
@Kimber2011 Oh, I remember watching it live! I was crying through almost all their speeches. One of the moments that really got me for some reason was seeing David Heyman hugging Emma. It was very sweet. But Jo's comment about Hogwarts turned me into a wreck. My sister found me bawling my eyes out and thought someone had died.
I lost it when she said "Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home". Because, honestly, Hogwarts has felt like home since I was six years old. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley are always going to be a part of me. Thank you, Miss JK Rowling for giving me a place to escape to when the world seemed unbearable. I am eternally grateful -3
I really can't stop myself from tearing up during this, harry potter was such a giant part of my childhood, I'll miss waiting for a new book or movie to come out :(
hogwarts has been a home to me since i was 6 years old, now im 17 and still loving everything about the series. j.k. rowling, thankyou for blessing me now and througout my childhood with memorable stories and characters that were and will always still be there for me in the years to come. you are the best!!!
wow. Jo brought harry, ron, and hermione into this world. I dont know where i would be without the harry potter series. They make me happy when im sad and they taught me so much about love, loyalty, friendship, bravery, etc... The characters of harry potter have been a part of my life since I was really little. I remember waiting for my hogwarts letter on my 11th birthday, and crying when it didnt come. The true magic of Harry Potter lives in us. Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home
I had to laugh at the part where she mentioned rain. It poured on the evening of the last midnight show where I live, and I looked like a half drowned rat going through the doors of my local movie theater but I was proud to say I was dressed in my Slytherin best and crying through the whole thing, cause it wasn't the end of an era it was the end of so many childhoods, mine included. And that is what gets to me. But Always remember. Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.
I started to tear up at around the 2:30 mark, but I truly began to cry in earnest when she said that Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home. Because that's how it's always been for me.
when i was watching DHP2 in the theatre for the 1st tim i couldnt even cry. i wanted to so badly but my tears were beaten by a rush of shock. shock that everything was over... no more books, or premiers, o camping out for tickets... its all over. but dont cry because its over, smile because it happened:)
My sister introduced me to Harry potter when I was 9 and I just devoured those books. And then I watched all the movies. And jk Rowling started the Harry potter experience for me and I was hooked.
I love you JK, you're our queen. You are my WHOLE childhood. You've inspired me so much, so, so much. You made me believe in so many things, in magic, in dreams, in friendship... in myself. I can't help but love you. And like Dumbledore would say, "not because it's happening in your head means it's not real". You made me so happy, and the idea of no more HP movies is so, so sad. Yes, I still have the books but every year my excitement was huge, waiting for another movie to come out. I love you.
I hope she write another book!!! Make it about the kids! Albus Potter and the_____ Whatever you want! With Albus, James, Lily, Rose, Hugo, and Scorpius. She has to! I will Avada Kedarva myself if she doesn't! I love you Jo. Thanks you for the most wonderful years of my life. She couldn't of said it better. Hogwarts will always be there to welcome me home. You're amazing!
She never has to write another book in her lifetime. Shes a frickin Trillionaire. But we all know that if she never does write another book we're going to mob her and plead to her, to make another. OR all of us Potter-heads will never really want to read another book, (Especially Twilight..) again.
Don't cry, don't cry, don't cry... damn, I can't stop myself ;[ Harry Potter is huge part of my life, I can't believe it's ends... But I won't forget. I'm Polish, so now I can do something new and read it in English or something, I can't live without these story...
Thank you J.K. Rowling for giving me amazing childhood. When I'm upset, mad and on, I always back to Hogwart and I know it always waiting for me... Sorry, but I can't calm down... ;[
so many people said it + I just wanna say it again: thank you Jo for your amazing books, thank you for all the magic, thank you for showing us that there's always something worth fighting and living for... thx for the best part of my childhood+my teenage years. I started to read HP in 2000 when I was 12 + since then I was waiting for the next book, the next film. can't believe it's over.
Yes, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home. 4 now + ever!
1 person must have been crying so much they pressed Dislike by accident.
But seriously, I love this.
The first book was published the year before I was born, and the first movie came out on my 3rd birthday; so I grew up with Harry Potter.. I'm not even 13 yet, not for another 3 months and 15 days, but I feel like my childhood is over.
"Whether you come back by page or by the big screen,
Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."
Only the first book came out 4 days before I was born and the first film was SUPPOSED to come out on my fourth birthday but they had to change the release date.
I know what you mean, I feel as if my childhood is over too, its such a numb feeling knowing theres never gunna be another one
@xLucyWeasleyx Ikr :/ But hey.. Even though there won't be any new ones, we can still re-read the books (I've done so about a million times, I always try reading other books but I get bored and read HP again instead o.o) and re-watch the movies. Harry Potter lives on.
I was there. It was heart-breaking to see everyone crying all around me. There were people breaking down... It was horrible to see my childhood end...
I had to hold back the tears I coudnt I love rupert and Daniel and Emma and to see Harry potter over kills me I want jk Rowling to rewrite the stories in Rons or hermoines perspective it wouldn't be enough to make into a movie but it would make an amazing book like it if you agree
I love J.K. Rowling because she made this word for us and whenever things got hard you could just go to hogwarts...and this interview just tops it all when she sais Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home....I love Harry Potter...I adore the woman that wrote it :) HP will live in me forever
Didn't think this would make me cry but it did and I can't stop it.Great memories from a wonderful series both books and movies.Thank you all so much for making them for us especially you J.K. Rowling.Gosh Post Potter Depression is so overwhelming.
Think I'll go back and read all the books again real soon...
i liked how smart she wrote these books.like she connected the story lines from the first book/movie all the way to the last movie.J.K rowling is a true genius.
This came out when I was born... Now im 12 and I have been reading harry potter since like forever. I cannot believe Harry potter is over, The line,"Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home" got me crying. Long live HP
*busts out in tears* OH JK! Thank you so much for the most wonderful childhood I could've asked for in the form of a little boy living in a cupboard under the stairs who gave me hope that maybe I too could change something, could be someone, despite beginnings that are hardly prepossessing.
im just grateful for being part of the generation that grew up with the magic of harry potter. i was 8 years old when i first read the book and saw the movie. now im 18 just graduated high school & getting ready to go to college & its all over so it really is coming full circle. i grew up with this and now as my childhood ends along with it. a little part of me died in that theater midnight when i saw this movie. loll gahh im a mess.

*busts out in tears* OH JK! Thank you so much for the most wonderful childhood I could've asked for in the form of a little boy living in a cupboard under the stairs who gave me hope that maybe I too could change something, could be someone, despite beginnings that are hardly prepossessing.

I don't think I've been more grateful for anything in my whole life, than I am for what Rowling gave our generation. Harry Potter made me.

im just grateful for being part of the generation that grew up with the magic of harry potter. i was 8 years old when i first read the book and saw the movie. now im 18 just graduated high school & getting ready to go to college & its all over so it really is coming full circle. i grew up with this and now as my childhood ends along with it. a little part of me died in that theater midnight when i saw this movie. loll gahh im a mess.
