  • if the music was just as loud as the crowd was giving the applause that would be awesome

  • @ztarrfect I think that could be because of the recording, the kind of camera and the fact that it is situated among the audience and not near the musicians.

  • porażka totalna

  • Who's the arrangement by? I love playing cannon in D on my harp, but if I had, what, five? six? harpests, I would be branching out! Up the volume! Make it dramatic!

  • I prefer it in D.

  • @gannaril you are right, the original is written in d major. quite a few variations are in c major though

  • I can't hear... the sound is not good.. fuck! We'll meet again Canon

  • Most people don't know "... in D major" means in Re major... wait... was it re?

  • @khestal yes it is assuming C is Do

  • Very pretty performance. A shame the sound quality is so poor... not the fault of the musicians. Bravo!

  • OMG, I cant get out that song from my head. I LOVED YOUR PERFORMANCE!!!!

  • It's very difficult to play harp. Great job!!!!

  • I love harp sound and I love this title, wonderfull video

  • Beautiful, gentel, serene.

  • meh... harp is much more boring compared to the string versions such as a cello version because i everything sounds the same. not interesting at all.

  • Is the conductor even necessary?

  • @aaronconner86 yes, the conductor keeps everyone in rhythm. No conductor=completely jumbled, out of place music.

  • @The2010clarinetgirl I play string quartets and have played this so many times and have never needed a conductor.

  • @aaronconner86 Without a conductor, u will get nervous during performance and u might mess up. So it is necessary.

  • I Like the Song very much, the Harp players, the Musical Instruments... but I dislike the video recorder because he/she was too late in recording... failed in recording from the start...

  • i've played the flute for the past 10 years, but the last 3 or so I haven't had as much time to play because of school and now work. My true passion is the harp and I want to finally start learning to play soon. Since I can read music for flute will that help me with the harp? Any suggestions on what kind of harp should I start out with?

  • does this means that the bigger the harp the lower the pitch?

  • @BlackJackWiNn3r Usually the bigger any instrument, the lower the pitch, and I imagine the same is true with harps. The larger it is, the longer the strings are, so they vibrate at lower frequencies, producing lower pitches.

  • @BlackJackWiNn3r No, the bigger the harp, the more the strings, so it has more low strings so it can still play the high notes and lower notes

  • wow, o love it but its soooo FRUSTRATING that the sound sucks!!!

  • spongebob

  • Ooo, celtic lever harps = pain in the but!

  • it's ssoooo lovely and relaxing, but the trouble with harps is A: they're too big, and B: they're too quiet, you can ahrdly hear it even when the sounds turned rigth up.

  • @natalieiscool777 Harps can actually be VERY loud! It depends on the harpist.

  • brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrava

  • harp indeed has a very distinctive sound. It is more of an elegant sound coming from each strings...just like violin. Both have very sophisticated sounds.

  • i really love the music!!!!someday i wished i can play an instruments like that!!!!

    it so really awesome!!!

    aveva!!!musicians are greater than best!!!!!

    arigatou guzaimasu!!!!

  • Absolutely beautiful. Enchanting.

  • King David played harp.

  • more like a lyre.

  • Well done. I like it.

  • Jp: Nah it is not that hard. I have recently started learning it and I have tremendously enjoyed it. I guess it is easier for me as I am a professional pianist too. :-)

  • The harp an orginal irish design for a self acoustic instrument.

  • Actually the harp is a descendant of the lyre, an instrument invented in Greece and Egypt in the 3 century BC. The Irish just took an existing instrument and added their cultural styles of playing to it

  • is playing the harp hard???????

  • yes. yes it is.

  • do you even play the harp?

  • Harpplayer said to me, it isn't hard.

If you play guitar and piano, and you want to play it, one weekend for the first great songs, I heard from them..

  • Yeah, its difficult .

  • @jp123456789

not really but it depends on the piece your playing

  • beautiful!

  • It's awesome!!!! five stars!!!

  • sounds great but i wish it were a better quality recording

  • well, that's because it's Pachelbel's Canon in C ^^

  • @gannaril Very soothing piece of music, Love it.

  • @gannaril funny i thought it was written in D but I have heard in C.

  • noob its an arrangement ¬¬

  • @TennisChamp59 Obviously, it's Pachelbel's Canon in C

  • @aditisngh10

That explains why it sounds so bad...

  • canon consist of several melody i notice that. therefore a single instrument wont sound as beautifull.

  • que sutil, que delicado. Excelente.

  • i played this for my school too.

  • beautiful

  • pretty.

  • it's a good work,but it's very difficult to play harp

  • it´s not so difficult. if you have a good teacher it is easy to learn^^

i can play harp too so i know what i´m talking about^^

  • If didn't notice, there are students of various ages and levels who are playing. The director gives the ques as to when to begin and to stop. It is very normal to have this especially with beginner students who haven't developed their sense of timing or who haven't been playing in a group. Good observation.

  • Thank you for your very excellent answer Fredrika27!!

  • My boy just started to play the violin in a group. His teacher does the same for the students. The better students play the whole song while the beginners join only in certain parts. What is so lovely about the whole process is that teachers like my son's and the one in the harp video are able to produce a beautifully sounding piece of music that everyone can enjoy.

  • I play harp, and I'm a little confused with why there's a conductor xD

  • harps are lovely,, the only thing i dont like about it is its huge,, cant bring it around,, thats why im a guitar person

  • Ah, lovely.

  • soo nice and peaceful..

  • wow so good..i love ie..
