  • Thanks for subscribing, and you described it perfectly - when anyone lifts their arms, and there's hair - it just automatically looks more ... RIGHT.

You do have awesome head hair, i have to say. I kinda wish i was female just for less of a chance at male pattern baldness *damn, why did it have to attack my signature feature?!?!* But yah. You're quite the interesting person and i would be proud to have you among my group of friends.

But you are feminine-attractive, and must live with the looks.

  • Well said!!! Seriously!!!

  • 2. I really think people should see each other as human beings rather than always men/women with all the expectations these genders face.

  • 1. There could be so many different reasons for why certain people choose not to shave their legs/armpits, but others immediately start thinking a certain thing about them.

I don't shave, but I consider myself as a 100% feminine and attractive to men female. Though at times I can be a real physically strong Tom boy and at times again I might even be interested in pleasing women's bodies, which has never happened.

  • this is a great video, you really articulate your feelings in a great way. just keep being you. your happiness is the only thing that counts.

  • Breaking physical boundries isnt (imo) as hard as realising you can define yourself by defining your boundries. What i mean with that is breaking the stability that the forced unwritten laws of society gives you.

    "New is frightening, familiar isnt."

  • I understand =) I shave my arm pits just because it keeps the smell away, I think it should be a personal choice and not a gender thing, I think if a male wants to shave his legs/arm pits/wear makeup he should be able to do that just as well as if a female wants to do the oposite. People focus too much on appearance rather than personality and soul. You should not be defined by your looks but by the person you are inside. People need to come out of their society brainwashed views and wake up/

  • I, too, reject heteronormative societal constructs. I tend to not use pronouns unless I am forced, and I generally just refer to everyone as 'dude' (hey, I'm a high school teacher in southern california. Everyone here is 'dude'). I wish there was a way for our society to not be so extreme in their difinitions, but that is a problem that I've found in the gay/trans culture, too. I actually got from a gay male once "Yeah, but you weren't BORN a man." Average people are threatened by us.

  • You're very beautiful! As a bi girl, I'm only really attracted to other girls with long hair (but then again I'm attracted to guys with long hair too). I don't know why so many bi's and lesbians cut their hair so short.

It's good that you like making people think. You're cool :) It's ok if some people don't like it, it'll always be that way no matter what you do. It's their problem.

I'm a vegan, athiest, musician, and I don't have time 2 care if some bored loser has a problem with it.

  • u and i are so alike,personality. i just think the way u do

  • I really understand what you are sayin. Kudos to you my friend. Keep it up!

  • It's a sad commentary on the human desire to tell other people how to live that leads anyone to have an opinion about YOUR ARMPITS. (sigh) You do have great long hair! Keep on doing what you want in life, Sam.

  • Sam:

You are too awesome! As a genetic male (with long hair) who identifies as female, I relate to you on so many levels. Be who you are & don't let anyone pressure you to be what you are not.

I'd love to hang out and have a beer with with a boy like you (assuming, of course, that you could accept and understand a girl like me!)

Peace (and love from the other side of the mirror)!

    Shannon

  • We are who we are! I totally get you, I'm sick of those divisions too. "let it be"

    We don't need "labels".

  • You're very interesting to listein to. The hippie-wiccan girl comment cracked me up.

  • i'm also bisexual and ftm, i relate to this completely! x ant

  • Fascinating observations on gender, I feel similarly but I can't verbalise it like you.

  • Darn, it took me ages to see this! I thought I was subscribed to you but I guess I wasn't. Thanks for your response there. That makes plenty of sense to me, and I'm not too different. :)

  • Thank you for subscribing by the way, and heeeyyy!! You're like a female version of me, haha. Except I'm not bi, I'm gay, but yeah - I think the term you're looking for is genderfucked. Someone who bends themselves to look like both genders, or to come off as both genders. It's like..a more extreme form of androgyny.

  • I feel exactly the same way. Thanks for posting this. :)

  • you're welcome :) thanks for subscribing

  • I like what you said about wanting people to be confused... because that's how I feel.

  • You are very beautiful. I would prefer a woman who shaves but you are beautiful. Loved ya singing Boston!

  • Thanks for the compliments. Though I don't think of myself as a "woman" who doesn't shave.

  • I really meant it when I said you are beautiful.

What do you mean in the video about not shaving?

Does your reply mean you do? It doesn't matter

necessarily. Your attractive either way. I just

prefer a more womanly woman. I'm not putting you

    down or anything.

  • As I said in the video, I don't shave. I also said that I don't think of myself as a woman. I understand you prefer a "more womanly woman". And I prefer people who actually listen to what I'm saying. I don't feel put down by your comment; just misunderstood.

  • I think you rock, Sam. And I REALLY get where you are coming from. Some folks won't get it, but you know what, find a few who do, and that is all you need. Now in my life, I swear only my husband/BF really gets me. *hugs*

PS -- I don't think of you as a woman!

  • just don't pay attention to those ppl

  • I feel the same about the body hair thing. It just normal and I don't know why people come up with being a hippie. I love my head hair, never want to cut because its a part of me. I'm a bit of a metal head so having short hair is not good for head banging. I don't see you as boy or a girl I just see you as a person.

    Take it easy

    Ace

  • Yeah! METAL!

  • I completely agree with what you said,I sat here and shook my head like "uh huh" "yep, thats right!" haha.

  • *And I meant FTM. Easy to mix those up!

  • Gosh, it's great to see another genderqueer person on here -- I am able to relate well, and that's really somethin'. I appreciate you coming out on here and talking about it.

    -Sincerely, another MTF outcast

  • There must be something wrong with me. I see you from listening to who you are on the inside. If that even makes sense. It's like what you wrote... You are just Sam. That's how I see you. I hope you have a great day!!

    (((Hugs))) to you...

    Paula

  • you just COMPLETELY described how I feel.
