It's amazing how well David Lanz can express human feelings into music. The title of this song is interesting... "Dreams of a Forgotten Child". If someone else tried to express a dream of a forgotten child, they wouldn't be able to do it. Yet Lanz's music fits the bill perfectly... and creats something creative, interesting, and relazing. It amazes me how many kids out there don't even know who David Lanz is but chooses to listen to pop rock songs every day... What has this world come to?

3:08 - 3:30 is so dramatically melodically sweet, i like how he starts very gentle at start then there is an explosion point and then is a calm, it is actually a definition of our feelings, they start , they explode then there is calm.

The feeling is even more great when you get to play the peace at piano.

I can't believe I have missed this amazingly beautiful music untill now. They say there is a time for everything, so maybe it is now my time, to hear this music. very much agree. Tough times indeed. Although we get carried away listening to songs like these as reality is so different for many of us, in a way it feels like I'm living in an artificial world and these kinds of music are encouraging me to get back in touch with the true reality. On the contradictory side, I realize my childhood will never return, yet this song reminds me of it, and somehow tells me to fight for it.

This kind of music takes a lot of deep emotions to understand. Though kids may find it lulling, it will take time for them to understand and experience with deeper meaning.

When I listen to this song, I reflect on some past experiences and this music brings out and helps to relieve those moments. Unfortunately kids don't have many experiences so they seek to exhaust their energy with pop music.

You can only expose kids to this and hope they will reflect on it later in adult life.

Secondly: Do you feel special saying this? That you understand this music, despite being 12? That being sad all of the time is something new to us? Everyone understands the music they listen to on some level, and age doesn't matter with that. There's no need to attempt to undermine someone because you want to feel superior. Also, throwing in a line meant to garner pity after all of this is not only ineffective, but annoying as well. Grow up.

I found this guy on Pandora one night, and I was drawn in by Christofori's Dream, and then his canon score was breathtaking. I decided to take a chance on just a random song. This man is brilliant.
