Doesn't the Atlanta Police Dept. use Vector LED bars?

I've seen they use blue Vector bars and I think they look awesome! And the painting of their RMP's as well of course ^^

@skrivbok Nope they use Liberties, the NYPD uses LED Visions though.

haha they are fantitic like i am. i started with a couple and then found a little more and has grown to a very bright truck

even though LED conversions area a great concept, i believe rotator lights should stay the way they are

this wasn't a conversion though.. it's the production model from federal signal.. I think they were tryin to get the loyalist that liked the "traditional" style with the modern leds...

I've saw something similar to this on NYPD cars but it only has 2 LEDs on the left and right side the rest is all rotators.

Well I don't care too much for Halogen..You need gloves on or a rag wrapped around the bulb when changing bulbs or they'll blow as soon as you fire it back up cause your oils in your skin make them blow. I like incandescents..They are just as good. Easier to work with.

I prefer the vector/vision with the halogen rotators..That LED model was'nt very impressive.. At least on the video.

The grill lights were more effective than that bar.

I have seen other videos with different flash patterns for the LED Vector, and they are far better than the ones here. I would give the LED upgrade a definite thumbs up!

I think a lot of it is current draw anymore..LED's are bright..but don't need the same power.. but yeah.. I'm a rotator fan too for some things..

I agree, I worked at a place with a rig that had a traditional light bar, the current draw would wear out the alternator ever other year, the size of a very large coffee can and a cost around 600-700 dollars, we ended up going to a LED bar, with 1/10 the current draw.
