Finally ,,,The Family Brown ,I was looking for ,,yes the Canadian band I was looking for many years ,,this band has alot of great award winning songs in the 70s and early 80 s I love to hear,,bring more please,,,,
used to listen to them in the 70's on the radio my favorites were family love and loving fool I still sing part's of these song'sof what i remember if you could post or let me know where i could get them it would be greatly appretiated Larry
I know I'm on someone else's account, but I'm actually quite happy to find a song of theirs on here. My mom is Lawanda, and she still has the Big Country Award standing on one of the old china cabinets in the dining room. I suppose I should be thanking people for the generous comments; so thank you! You all should check out my cousins' stuff (they're called Prescott).
I am grateful for this video. I used to listen to this on CMT over 20 years ago and it was one of my all-time faves. Great song and beautiful harmonies!
I jave always loved the Family Brown, right from Barry's first hi "RR#2"... By the way anyone knowing the lyrics to this could you forward them to me at reginald57@yahoo.ca I lost my copy somewhere along life's highway..Thanks
Oh thanks so so much for adding this, been looking for it forever, such a great song and tribute to the pioneers of Canadian country music, im only 33 years old but grew up listening to these guys, as well as Wilf Carter and Hank Snow, and of course grew up watching the Tommy Hunter Show, again thanks
