No video can tell you exactly how to do it as also common sense is used. As to bracket under sink Mine had none and some can be removed with new installation. If you cant figure out a bracket then leave job to a qualified plumber and save your headache for something else
Agree with the neg comments. This install looks like it was done in a brand new house with connections that are clean, new, and have zero corrosion, rust or old sealant. Thanks for nothing, really.
what a bunch of whiners!!! how is Moen expected to tell you how to take off a bracket that isn't for thier fixture? If you can't get the old stuff off, you will really need these SIMPLE instructions when you do get to putting on the new one. Too basic? I don't think it is for mosts of the posters here!!!
Wow thanks for the awesome explanation on how to shut off the water, cause you know that's so much more complicated than dismounting the bloody assembly which is completely self explanatory.. yea.
haha. Thanks for the instruction, captain obvious. I have installation instructions that came with the new faucet.
In all seriousness though. The part I'm curious about is the removal of the old faucet. Oddly, the manufacturer doesn't offer un-installation instructions of the old, unfamiliar faucet. ;-)
The mounting brackets under the sink that hold the old faucet in place look different than what I have viewed on the web. All the video productions I have seen so far, glance over the hard part.
useless video. doesn't show anything even the slightest bit helpful. where did they find these tools? and I don't mean the ones sitting on the kitchen counter.
This makes for a nice advertisement for Moen but not a very good instructional video. You didn't use half of the required tools or suggest where they might be needed in the process.
You showed the plumber's putty, pipe tape and various other tools but didn't show where they are needed in the process. Is the pipe tape used on the water supply line connection to the water supply line valve? I'm thinking but it doesn't show that in your video.
How about showing the actual removal of the faucet. There is a washer that often is difficult to remove (which i am currently having an issue with). If you cant remove the washer, you cannot proceed. I have a basin wrench, it isnt big enough for the washer. Off to the plumbing supply store.
Thanks for the informative video. I noticed you had plumber's putty but did not use it. Is it not required for installations not requiring the escutcheon?
You make it look so freaking easy! I can't even install the new cartridge in the damn thing.
I ruined the collar and escutcheon and deck gasket trying to install the cartridge. My wife is
right. I am a loser!! WWWAAA!!!

No help at all. Completely skipped removing old (and installing new) mounting bracket under the sink, which is where I need help.

this video is a joke. Who did this? Why wast your time on producing such a poor product?

Removing the mounting bracket is the hardest part. Did you get an acutal plumber to do that? Bogus.

This video is much too simplified and does not reflect an actual assembly.

Doesn't show half the steps required, nor what all the tools and supplies are used for.

This video was very helpful the instructions in the box were very vag. Thank you I didn't have to call a plumber in for this basic install.
