Everbody who made a comment of disliking "Pit Fighters" can go to hell. "Pit Fighters" was one of the original games that modly transceded all of the other lame brain games today.

Yeah holy shit, 85 dollars.. It was worse in Europe. Nintendo was only for the rich and spoiled kids in europe at that time, SNES games sometimes cost twice as much as the Megadrive/Genesis games. I remember seeing Zelda III for 900kr (Swedish crowns) wich is 125 dollars today. Nintendo was controlling the free trade in some countries in europe and had to pay huge fines for their greed in 2002. I switched to Sega after the NES. xD

What Nintendo did was punish distributors (by not supplying them) who sold their games on to other countries where prices were higher. So for ex a UK distributor wasn't "allowed" to sell their games on to an importer in Italy. If they HAD let them, prices would've been more even. Real gangster shit.
