It is truely amazing how small we really are. We are nothing in the universe and if we are the only lifeforms ever to have evolved. We must be extremely lonely. There has to be more lifeforms out there.

That "something or someone" creates disasters like floods and earthquakes killing thousands at a time, then allows mothers to die during child birth...and if the child lives they may develop a disease that cuts short their innocent lives...
