One thing that does disappoint me is when people tend to disreguard the later 2D Disney movies like Atlantis, Treasure Planet and Brother Bear... they're awesome movies and it's sad to see them being left out

The pictures were suppose to be of older Disney movies, the classic ones of during Walt's time. Sadly I couldn't find many good quality ones, nor could I find soundtracks from those movies.

I admit I liked the ones you listed, and I miss the old fashioned hand drawn movies. But this was part of a project to show why Walt Disney was in business for over 20 years (I say 20 because that was the minium given by the teacher.)

Okay everyone lets just calm down. This movie was meant as a memory to Walt Disney and some of the classic movies and a few of my favorite ones. Any more and I'll delete all comments.

I'm so thankful that I got to grow up during the pinacle of Disney. Aladdin, Pocahontas, Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid.....all these kids have today is dried out sequals. They don't know what they've missed.

I know, I loved all of those movies and the Disney channel. I would watch Aladdin, Hercules, and Timon and Pumba series. And I loved watching Genie's "Great Minds Think for Themselves" bit that played during commericales. Now we have High School Musical, Hannah, the show of the two brothers that build stuff during their summer break. I liked the old Disney, but now I don't watch it any more.

it's not really fair to say that. our parents would say the same thing about Sword in the Stone, Robin Hood and Jungle Book. The generation before that would say Snow white, Cinderella and Bambi was the pinnacle of Disney. and some day our children will be saying the moves they grew up with were best. It's all in the eye of the beholder and whether or not you enjoy the movies. There's no denying that even after 70 year since the first disney feature. Disney still produces magic.

lol, i just say disney movies arent what they used to be and leave it at that. it still includes all the earlier ones...the Classics...and its true. High school musical or Lion king? easy. Same to Jungle book? still easy. Same to Cinderella.

That may be true, but the pinnacle will always any stuff pretty much before....say, 2003...ish. Disney just isn't what it used to be at all.

Difference between Pixar and Walt Disney is thier is no music in Pixar, making the flims not as memorable but allows for a chance for comedy to be a more centrel point in making the film.

that's not true. both toy stories had music, as did cars, a bugs life, and other pixar/disney movies. it wouldn't be a disney movie if there was no music

all movies have songs in them. almost all of the Disney movies have the characters singing the songs. that was until Pixar came into the mix
