One of the most familiar statements I hear from Mormons is "families are forever." Unfortunately, it seems that KEY Mormon Doctrines work against this. A child is sealed to his/her family - for time and eternity, but if he or she marries a Mormon, he/she is sealed to the spouse - who has lready been sealed to his/her family. - Which sealing takes priority? Also, the goal of exultation further complicates this. Instead of being together, the BEST Mormon families will be WORLDS apart. :(

@imationqwest First,show some respect and get off this couples page with comments like that. Second, if you're going to insult the doctrine of another church you may want to spell it correctly; last time I checked, I'm a Mormon not a Morman. Thirdly, the gospel never changes - it is the same yesterday, today, and forever; Christ's church in the New Testament is the same that was carried forth by Moroni, and is the same that has been restored to the world today through the Prophet Joseph Smith.
