Nice tank! It looks very natural as in a river... I like to keep my goldfishies in simple tanks. I have 2 big basalt chunks, kinda pyramid-shaped, and behind them are big bunches of anacharis that I let wind around the tank and grow long. The rocks are natural-looking multicolored brown, white, black, and reddish rocks.
you know, Ross, at first, I thought your videos were dumb. then, I started to understand you, then I started to like you, and then I started to love you, and now, you have earned another subscriber. congrats!
@TheRossiboy haah i got your back btw the tank looks sick i like it but you should get some java fern and anubias since gold fish dont eat those 2 plants
@TWhite2345 no, the tube has a grating on the end which prevents anything that size from being sucked in :) If your filter doesn't have any kind of barrier try tying a sponge or other fine material over the end :)
wow.. that actually looked nice!! At the beginning I thought that the sand looked a bit dull bit with the rocks and water it really looked very good!! :-)
@outragedfly Thanks :) yeah it looked a bit grim when it was out of the tank but the water has a way of brightening it up and you'd be surprised what a few large objects can do!
@SuperSlovenianyoutub what constitutes an aquascape? it can mean different things to different people, just because it doesn't have T5HO's, CO2 injection, heavy planting and large pieces of bogwood doesn't mean it's an aquascape.
i realy want to ask u a question ,ok so u have a realy nice 15 gallon planted tank which i love and i was wondering.....
would any type of plant do ok in my 15 gallon tank ,i have just a plain gravel substrate and the tank has two 15 watt bulbs that are for plant growth please wright back
ea you have good knowledge of aquascape'ing,, substrate taller to the back, rocks higher on the left and not so high on the right, you don't want you aquarium looking like ther's a mirror in the middle, nice 1 ross
@DaughtersBoi yep you can feed them peas just boil them for 15 mins of put them in a bowl of water in the micro for 4-5 mins and then peel the outer skin off each pea and then remove the 2 small segments inside...you can feed the fish these but too many is not good for them
@jarrod989 yeah I don't plan on adding plants incase the hair algae comes back, I lost most of the plants I had in there due to that algae but there is some lucky bamboo in the filter :)
@weareallwet Thanks man :) Yeah I can get them veryy easily from a national petshop chain called pets at home and they're sooo cheap! that tank was £20/ $28 and the 15 gal was £30/ $40! they're amazingly cheap! but I think they're uk made

Mate you cant just put in any rocks you find. No doubt they contain calcium carbonate and then your tank will be buffered really alkaline man.
