it's a hack and slash game, yes it's going to mimic god of war, but I personally am much more enthralled by Dante just cause of the base material and story. It's more appealling to me. And the visuals are just amazing, not just the violence but the worlds all feel like living beings. I don't see why more GoW fans aren't thrilled to have a new game that fits in the style of play they enjoy with all new characters and worlds rather then playing the "My favorite game is so much better then this".

umm no ps3 is more detailed you have them mixed up, you see the ps3 has a capability of 1080p res while the xbox has 720, i have both and i cant tell the difference but thats whats 'inside' i guess you could say :P
they're about the same, but for some reason the ps3 version gets extra content like behind the scenes footage. I don't know why. My guess is either extra space on the disc or the idea that this game will be competing against God of War, so EA needs a reason to attract PS3 owners. Personally i think its dumb to make a game that completely copies the gameplay style of one of the greatest games in the genre, and then release it right before that game releases. Do they really think they can compete?

I have LOVED this epic poem since the first time I read it. I'm just hoping they don't screw up the ninth level (Cocytus) of hell reserved for the Treacherous. Satan is supposed to have 3 heads, a yellow, black, and red one which are gnawing on the three greatest traitors of history, Cassius, Brutus, and Judas. Satan also has wings which are perpetually flapping cold winds freezing the whole level in ice. If this gets messed up... I will be sad. ): But, the game still looks badass!! <3

I'm thinking they're gonna stick to the epic as best as they can, but commercializations of old works just tend to have variations, inevitably. I would expect a quality game, of course, but I'm not anticipating it remains true to the flow of the Divine Comedy.

A pure religion world would not be better because we would all be fighting about who is right, a pure atheist world would not be better because alot of the morals used by both atheists and the religious people have today come from religion, so if religion goes bye bye so do those morals. Actually Jesus was born in the spring and crusified in the fall. The roman impire had 12 months but it started in march. septem mean 7 in latin and 5 months later in is march.
