Im trying to beat him now but i cant. I flew through the game like it was nothing but i get here and i dont stand a chance. He constantly counters my heals even when i wait for the right moments and plus he keeps on using that super move at the times that i run out of 0 cards or high level cards to counter his special its just plain retarded. One of the other retarded things are is that i hit him with like 10 combos to look up and see he only lost like 1/4 of a bar.

man i remember how hard this was back when I got the game I tried and tried. lol I finally beat him I was so happy than axel wooped my ass and he was even harder so I sold it to EB games for like 4 dollars rofl

dude, rofl tht was stupid lol should have used the vexen card to bring yourself back to life and then use oogie boogie to get your health back, equipt lots of heals and DONT use fire on axel lol, use sleights and use dodge roll alot and 0's to break his cards.

yes because i was bored i beat the game 1000 times with out codes and i dont want to spend another 24 hours to beat the game so i can show these videos instead of takin 24 hours it took me about 3 that why i used them later i wont use codes

It doesn't take that long to beat the game. Just skip the cutscenes and most of the battles. I want to see your battles without cheat codes.

Spam omnislashes with cloud cards. I did it at the right time and it works wonders.

its so easy make a good deck thats it make it of mostly nines, eights and sevens some zeros to with lots of cure cards make sure to have jafar card it helps its so easy

That Ice thingy is Dark Firaga I believe. To dodge that, you can dodge roll behind Riku (It can't hit you if you're behind him) or use a 0 card.

That 'trick' I think you're talking about is Dark Aura. I'm pretty sure it can be dodged just by jumping around but you'd best use a 0 card.

God...Riku 4 was the hardest fight in the game, way harder than marluxia's machine

What settings though? I always have to record through Camtasia because the VBA records are so big. No codec compresses well enough.

On the vid itself, the deck design isn't too bad, but you cant really use cards that excell in one specific strike against Riku, because he breaks your combo's too much. I can understand the 20+ deaths, though, Ansem II took about 100 tries in my Riku NOHP game.

Well, I record it with that 'Full Compressed' settings (The default setting). Then, once I record it, I open Windows Movie Maker, put the video in there, and save it. WMM should make it a .wmv video, and they'll only be about 3 MB big.

Thanks for the tip! I didn't think to compress it again with another program. Also, would you get mad if I put up my vids? I've been recording a lot, but I've never put them up because I couldn't get them done well. Only one I did was a tutorial vid for the folks at GameFAQs.

I used an emulator to record this stuff. It's a VisualBoy Advance (VBA).

I didn't use cheats at all.

And it really isn't skill either. I died like 20+ times trying to beat him.
