Yeah, it is devastatingly sad, but I love the raw emotion within the scene. I think I that is my favorite part of the movie because everything is finally put on the line. Jack reaches his breaking point, releasing his frustration with the situation and just tells Ennis like it is. I think Ennis was just VERY confused and afraid [notice when they cuddle, Ennis is usually the one being held].

During their last conversation [Saddest & my favorite part of the move] when a teary-eyed Ennis said "It's cuz of you, Jack, that I'm like this" ; I knew it was really hard for him and that he wish he had the strength to just let it be. for me, purely speaking of love, both the ficition and the film of Brokeback Mountain are the best that I have ever watched, simply unforgettable. A love that is so painful, deep, beautiful and undying between Ennis & Jack, can never forget it.
The first movie that ever made me cry. I only watched it today, five years after its release. I never thought it would stir my soul so much. You don't have to belong to any particular sexual identity to feel Ennis's agony at what he lost, or to feel hopelessly distraught at what happened to Jack. Because at the end of the day, their love is simply human.

Rhett &Scarlett, their love towards each other did not come at the same time. Its not until the end that Scarlett discovered her feeligns towards Rhett but then Rhett was already heart-broken and did not love her any more but Ennis & Jack's love lasts fr beginning to eternality.

also, i don't think there are many people who would love a person as deep as Jack towards Ennis. Always giving out but never expect to get back. Ennis, though at last, is so lonely and sad, but the love from Jack will always be with him and nourish him, he is still very lucky in this respect and one day they will meet again. (I am a dreamer)

Yeah, it is devastatingly sad, but I love the raw emotion within the scene. I think I that is my favorite part of the movie because everything is finally put on the line. Jack reaches his breaking point, releasing his frustration with the situation and just tells Ennis like it is. I think Ennis was just VERY confused and afraid [notice when they cuddle, Ennis is usually the one being held].

I know most people protray Ennis as the "hubby" and Jack as the "wfie" as Jack is more gentle, but they are wrong, the one who has courage is Jack, he is fearless while Ennis acts like coward most of the times. I thought "I can't stand this any more, Jack" means that Ennis cannot stand the pressure of loving Jack and not he feels guiity for his unwillingless to carry the relationship further? I think he only realised how much he has hurt Jack when he saw the 2-1 shirt, but then its too late, he never got a chance to apologise to Jack, its so sad. This story teaches us never to take anything for granted

During their last conversation [Saddest & my favorite part of the move] when a teary-eyed Ennis said "It's cuz of you, Jack, that I'm like this" ; I knew it was really hard for him and that he wish he had the strength to just let it be. It was just heartbreaking seeing how Jack was trying so hard, constantly wearing his heart on his sleeve, wanting to be with Ennis, yet Ennis could not find the courage to just be with Jack. :'(

The first movie that ever made me cry. I only watched it today, five years after its release. I never thought it would stir my soul so much. You don't have to belong to any particular sexual identity to feel Ennis's agony at what he lost, or to feel hopelessly distraught at what happened to Jack. Because at the end of the day, their love is simply human.

Rhett &Scarlett, their love towards each other did not come at the same time. Its not until the end that Scarlett discovered her feeligns towards Rhett but then Rhett was already heart-broken and did not love her any more but Ennis & Jack's love lasts fr beginning to eternality.

Fear sometimes prevents us from doing what our heart wants or longs for. Fear is so powerful and can destroy our lives forever....if we let it. The movie was an example of that. So Ennis will always live with "what could have been". In real life, he would die a lonely broken man....always regretting not making a choice that came from his heart.
