How much are one of these? As a bassist, guitarist, and mandolinist, I'm thinking of learning how to play this, it sounds so cool!!

It ran me bout $600 when I first got it, that was before I got it fully levered. It cost around $500 to get it fully levered. I also have a rad carrying case for it with back straps which ran me around $160ish. Yeah I've put a lot of money into it, but seeing as you are a Rushloving, multi-instrumentalist like myself, you would probably love it.

This made me laugh. A LOT. Very cute, very funny. Are you self taught? You have a kind of a peculiar technique. I'd play those chords with the thumb instead of the second finger (or pointer finger). And your fingers aren't moving completely into your palm as they "should" (in classical harp technique). You manage to get a damn good tone though, which is impressive. Keep up the good work.

Yeah I am self taught for sure. I am sure any classical harp teacher would be appauled at my fingering technique lol. I simply just do what is natural to me and helps me play best. One thing that I am trying to develop better though is using my ring fingers!

Hahaha great story man :) You play the harp as well? The second part is a cool ditty I made that switches in between 5/4 and 6/4 time signatures. It is in the key of G. I don't have the notes written out, but the first chord starts on C. Good luck!

Yeah, just learning right now. I am not that good, but It bought a 22 line harp in my last trip to ireland. I really like the sound, but I didn't figure it would be this hard to learn. :) Does it get easier eventually?
