  • you SOMTIMES USUALLY have to push the clutch in?????

  • cooperobriant1 you'll show how to DIVE a stick??? LOL your just jealous cause you can't drive stick, I'm 13 too douchebag if your gonna leave fu%#in rude and idiotic comments then don't leave them and f off

  • You won't stall if you shift down into second. You'll prolly just be redlining. And you always have to push the clutch to start it. I just saved that 280Z life.

  • The rpm doesnt have to be up to 3 to shift

  • i can drive automatic

  • actually.. you always have to push the clutch to start the car.. lol

  • u know the camera man is it a girl or boy because look on the legs they are hairy like shit 0.33 and at the end a girl shows up 4.44 :D

  • THATS ALL FOLKS lol

  • This car shifts directly fifth to reverse!!! What a piece of shit!

  • lmao you cant even see over the steering wheel thumbs up if you agree this kid is a joke

  • sticks easy but most people just r horrible at it

  • stop at 0:13

  • @thecjbusta I mean at 0:14

  • Parking break doesn't matter, aslong as you're in neutral,

  • RPM= Revolutions Per Minute

    just saying

  • i can actually drive and im only 14 but ye waiting for age limit sucks 1 more year!!

  • don't be to rough with the gears it's killing the transmission !

  • well only an idiot doesnt know how to shift manual so who gives a fuck about that ...i tought i would see you drive but nothing..dude relax when you shift your going to break it xd

  • goin alil too rough on the stick lil homie!!

  • Excited uh ?

  • OMG! I love datsun

  • manual rock xept dude ur car is damn high doors or is it u dats small :D

  • wat sshitty transmission do u have...playin around......

  • well done. little man

  • hey man promise me that you tell him that tachometer never goes over the red line... shifting up or down... idc nor that speedopmeter reach over 100 Mph.... nor 140 K....(next year when he gets his permitt) (if it is next year)

  • its actually Revolutions Per Minute.

  • thats all folks

  • ur not even old enough to drive lmao u got atleast 2 or 3 years depending on where u live

  • I learned to drive from this kid, thank you kid you really helped me btw if you don't remember I am Stig your old buddy.

  • This is too simply. He has the right idea but doesn't explain correctly.

  • you always have to push the clutch in

  • you cant teach some1 how to drive stick....

  • stick the shifter up ur ass

  • when you start the car you dont put the clutch in, only if you leave it in 1st gear you do that... when you go up in gears all ways bring it back down in the same way.. 1,2,3,4,5 then 5,4,3,2,1 when you start learning how to drive in a few years youll be told that. Gear box problems occor otherwise as the gears are spinning much higher due to rpm if you dont you will mess up the gear ration and damage the engine and gear box.

  • @bbharvi Actually, depending on the car it does have a lock and wont let you start the car unless the clutch is in. Even in neutral. And no, you don't always have to shift down in that order. If you're going 50 in 5th, and slow down to 20, you can just put it into 3rd, or 2nd depending on your gear ratio. Impressive vid for a 13 y.o

  • @shangman589 Sorry to say your incorrect my dad owns a car garage, he has workers that repair from a to z. A gearbox will cost far more to replace then knocking it down from 5 to 3. The revs spin whislt the gearbox is running missing a gear link makes the engine work harder to keep the rpm down. Only new cars from 2009 onwards have the start stop feature. When at lights the car will switch of to save fuel and then when the clutch is engaged it will start. SO GO DO ONE 10 YEAR OLD.

  • i was waiting for you to start the engine...

  • I have started a couple of stick shift cars and I'm 13 it's really not that hard u just have to press the clutch and put it In nuetral

  • hey fagget shutup im 13 and i will show u how to dive a stick

  • good 4 u

  • @cooperobriant1 i bet your not talking about a car... I'm 15 and i new how to drive a Stick since i was 6 man.... give the kid a break...... this was a just for fun vid.... hey Mike.... your'e kid's awesome.... :) lol can't believe i have the same age as him... o.0.....

  • @cooperobriant1 , u fukin hater if ur in a bad mood take that stick and shuv it up ur ass idiot.

mikeyrules9 ur ok man but thats some shit car ;) , and dnt confuse ppl about movin the stick left n right before goin to 4 , u gatta do that becasue the car is old , if ur driving a new car u wouldnt have to do that.

  • @cooperobriant1 um ok how can u drive a stick its ood from a tree

  • you copied this other video you have the exact same name you just did that for views

  • "If you don't watch where your driving, you could crash or something" Really? I didn't know that. I'll make sure to remember that next time lol

  • I learned to drive manual when I was 12 years old using a PC wheel and a video game :D

    Logitech G25 to be exact.

  • if you know how to drive a stick, you shouldnt have to look at the RPM dial. you should be able to here how loud it gets and then shift

  • RPM also means Reveleution per minute

  • ok then do it your self if you can ?

  • no no no..... handbreak should be on. foot off clutch, out of gear then start, you dont start the car in gear with clutch down, fucking pointless....

  • 5 stars kid, can't wait to see you on the road.

  • If you have the car in gear you will not hurt your self because the car will not start It will rock

  • not if the clutch is down

  • you donte need to put your foot on the cluch when you start the car oand you do not hav to shake the gear stik around when you chage gear im 11 iv been driving cinse i was 6 driving my dads merc in are tight drivway how aboat that!!!!!!!!!

  • pichi vato ni q no supiera

  • he's a bit rough with the gears, but practice maes perfect! he's learning, fair play to the lad! keep it up!

  • Crappy guide for beginners, he has some knowlage though. gotta give him credit for that.

  • if you can't see over the steering wheel, you can get hurt.

    just saying..

  • you can probably crash if you cant see over the steering wheel too lol.

  • i started drive a manual car when i was 9what and i am turning 12 this year

  • how will you get hurt? lol

  • If you have your car in gear when you start it, you will get hurt?

    Hehe.

  • whats the difference

  • Good for u

  • cool

  • His explanation is commendable. I was obsessed at his age with driving a stick.

  • nice little man

  • @Djtubie It's easy but you need to have felling

  • Smart little man ;)

I didn't learn this stuff till I was about 15 years old. Keep it up and you'll be a great driver when you go for your licence.

Do you know much about the column shift? The first vehicle I ever drove was an old Mitsubihi van which had the shifter on the steering column, you had to be very smooth and gentle as it would sometimes be tough to get into gear.

I've still got that old van in my driveway after my dad gave it to me a few years ago.

    Thanks for posting

  • thanks dude try and make a vid of the van i want to c it.

  • Yeah I think I will, I just got myself a digital camera with video capture and have been meaning to test it out.

The Mitsi is a bit rough around the edges but is a very handy thing to have around. I use it to pick up parts to work on my own special cars (a everyday car and a restoration project) so it has its uses.

  • lol who is that at the end of the video??? lolololololololol1 hahahahahahaha

  • it was my little sister lol
