you're going to take a lot of shit from the firefighters for going that route. They look down on the people who promote from EMS to Fire. They'll think you cheated your way in. You should do EMS because you like doing EMS, not because you see it as a means to an end. You'll be a shitty provider and get burned out pretty quickly. Plus, a Fire Science degree is useless.
