@BOXINGMAN127 Well that's because alot of people have grown up with the black eyed Sonic AKA Classic, since the very beginning, and people enjoyed playing the classic games on the Genesis, Master System, 32x, Game Gear, CD, PC, and Saturn. because people were also so amazed on the new superhero that surpassed Mario and that it was the golden era where Sonic never failed at anything. That's why people like Classic Sonic because his design reminds the ones who played at young ages enjoy nostalgia.

@FOXKIDSFanChannel1 I think its wrong to blame green eyes sonic for being terrible. He may have terrible games and gameplay but it's got nothing to do with the character. Maybe Sonic 06's story line was terrible but one of the storylines for this game (before the rings of order and doom virus storylines) was "Sonic Twist" where sonic is late for a date with tiara boobowski so he deciedes to collect the chaos emeralds to make them into a necklace for her while Robonik tries to steal them off him.

Sonic gets infected with a virus that has also infected robotnik & now Professor Gazebo boobowski / King cyberooski wants him to run on walls in the levels (no exaggeration) to find all the emeralds so he can make a cure potion & the Doc wants to steal it... Still lame like you said but the final story they thought of (supossedly the chosen one) involved 8 rings of order which had a link with the emealds & robotnik wanted them so sonic has to stop him.

Sega didn't create this song. Chris Senn made this on his own time when he was working on the PC version of Sonic X-treme as conceptual music.

no the saturn version never got really far in production, the closest version to be complete was the PC version. Which was 60% completed and is the version you see all those sonic x-treme videos of.

Well on Chris Senn's forum we had an idea like this. The idea was to raise the amount of money SEGA lost in the process of making Sonic X-treme and SEGA on there end would release all the lost material, builds, concept art and etc. to the world. But it didnt get very far, nobody in the forum wanted to support the fund raiser.

actually its not Sonic X-treme's theme song, Space Queens was created by Chris Senn to promote the game at the time, when a couple of commercials of Sonic X-treme were aired

STI worked on this game while Yuji Naka worked on NiGHTS, my fav game, and one of the best games I've ever played.

NiGHTS is a Sega Saturn game developed by Sonic Team. You missed out big time when it first came out in 1996. To actually play NiGHTS means a lot more than talking about it...

Why so serious? It's not that big of a deal to play NiGHTS. It was a very good AAA title that had, oh let's see, about a hundred times less new things in it than Mario 64. Is playing Mario 64 special? No, because everybody has already. Nights is only so special because the system it was on was so horrendous. Best game ever on Saturn (nights) = pretty good playstation game = if you really look at it fairly, out of system context, nights, actually, wasn't THAT great of a game at all, really!

Uhh... Christina Coffin made the NiGHTS 718 Version, You'd notice by the Metal sonic arena underneath the floor. The version Chris Senn was working on with Alon ofer wasn't going on to be on the PC.
