Most scanners contain some level of fake finger 2D detection. This eliminates the usefullness of prints on paper. What is left is a requirement to build a mold of someone's print. This is more difficult than what was presented as most users are not willing to donate their print to someone, nor are they typically in the business of pressing hot wax. I want to know what is the best technique to dust for prints and then build a 3d print from that dusted image.

@msmi10 For a start, the best way to dust for a fingerprint is a make-up brush and graphite.. Graphite is obtained from a standard pencil.. Just remove the wood and crush the graphite. then dust the fingerprint with light brushes.. But making the 3d model i cant help you with ^^
