Adama and Roslin - The Oath Kiss

I got into BSG about a month ago and am just starting season 4. In celebration of my nerdiness, I allowed myself a spoiler. Adama and Roslin are easily my favorite couple on this show. They are just so tender, so cute. They feel so strongly for one another. I can't wait to see the context for this scene...I feel like this may be one of those tearjerker ones. :P

This was THE best romance of the entire series, in my opinion. We're all so used to the more youthful versions in modern media, but this more mature romance, in all its subtle beauty, was such a wonderfully defining element of the series.

I think so many love this couple because their relationship is so pure. Despite that they are two older people, it doesn't mean that they can't fall in love. What I love about these two is that Laura is a very pretty woman, but Bill is not the greatest looking man. He is handsome but not one of the best. They are so cute together, and they are perfect for each other.

This one of most romantic things I ever seen on SciFi TV. When I saw it, I said Go Eddie, Go Mary!!! What you don't see in this clip the reactions of Lee, Kara, Tigh, Chief, Baltar. Their mouths hit the floor. Bill and Laura had a love the went beyond death. At the end they were each other's forever love.

That was such a great line. She knew from the getgo what he had to do but she also knew he would be thinking about her. He really needed the reassurance and she was there to give it to him :).

@glorys17 Plus you have to imagine this was the night after they made love... they could probably still taste eachother, feel eachother from the night before and then all of a sudden they are possibly being separated forever. Those eps were so epic. I don't think I blinked once through the The Oath or BOTS

@glorys17 - It's amazing how all TV pales in comparison to this now. I find myself not even watching shows I used to watch like CSI Miami etc. It's crazy. BSG and A/R ruined all other TV for me. I hope that goes away eventually and something sparks my interest again. I do admit to liking 'Deadwood' on DVD but man alive, BSG is the best. Oh and I like LOST. I'm so glad A/R has inspired people to look to literature again (shared) because really there's nothing more romantic

They are the best tv couple ever. The storyline is perfect. I love how subtle and believable it is, how it shows that not only young people fall in love and that it's never too late to find true love. It was profound, bittersweet and heartbreakingly beautiful at the end. And MM & EJO acting was just briliant. Now all other tv love stories seem shallow and repeatable to me.

This scene just blew me away when I saw it for the first time. Just the way they filmed it was so different and yet so fitting! It shows true passion and desire. I always cry when I see this now because i remember their last scene toegther... :-(

I loved watching this scene on TV. It was a surprise for sure. In this clip you don't see Tigh, Lee and Kara's reaction to the kiss it was funny. I thought their eyes were going to pop out of their heads. It was like they were the 2 people in the room at that moment.
