I get so excited when I start one of these NBC thingos and hear Keith Morrison's voice - he cracks me up! He is the Roger Moore of investigative journalism!
No spoilers here, but if you are watching this for the first time, it is one of the bizarre crime stories I've ever seen. It's alternately both funny and tragic.
Hearing a Seuss-like narration of a grisly murder case is quite amusing to me. I know some people are creeped out, and I was at first too. It seemed so inappropriate but once I got used to it I began to enjoy his work. LOL I have a sick sense of humor and enjoy stuff like that though.
"After that, their daughter was never alone, never alone, without a phone. While never alone without a phone, she saw a blue dog and threw him a bone."
Sorry guys, I coudn't resist!
By the way, thanks for posting. This looks extremely interesting (despite the reporter's tone and method of chronicling)!
@KribahhRockstar When I was active duty I had to look a t a lot of court martial and non-judicial punishment documents because I processed them. There are some sick SOBs in the military- some real perverts. I am talking only Air Force because I was not privy to other branches. The vast majority of the sexual offenders were officers, too- it is a power thing. Some were the higher ranks of enlisted members, a few low ranks. In my 12 years I had a few real stalkers and assault attempts on me too.
This case was horrible but I still am quite perplexed as to why people are so shocked that there could be such an individual in high ranks in our armed forces...sadistic sexual predators come from all walks of life. I'm just glad this monster is off our streets.
When I heard in the news this case was being featured on NBC, I had no idea it would be so soon. Being Canadian, this case is extremely upsetting. He let the whole country down by abusing his power in such a twisted manner...may he rot in hell...he is pure evil...he is not human.
3 seconds in and I'm excited to hear Keith Morrison's voice

Dr. Suess, I mean, Keith Morrison says: "I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam I Am."
The way he narrates clearly reminds me of the "Dr. Suess Kindergarten-storytime days!"
LOL!

I have watched this twice. I still find this to be one of the best dateline shows ever.
