  • In the flute part I hate the fast tough transition between the really high notes. That's what's been killing me!

  • What is 01:11 - 01:20 from? That is DEFINITELY from something.

  • Favorite piece for band. Definitely conducting this one. :)

  • Love the percussion writing... Great piece!

  • Playing picc on this :) it's super fun. I love it being pretty much straight runs. That and the piccolo part being a completely different part from flute.

  • A summary of the ending: Building, building, building, Building, MASSIVE CHORD THAT'S OVER 9,000!!!!!!!!!!

  • you think its hard?? we had to play it this yr for my hs marching band!

  • This made me shit bricks when we sight read it in HS at this speed. Damn.

  • I loved playing 1st trumpet on this!!!

  • It isn't that bad for percussion. I've played worse. I played this in 7th grade. But this is definitely a really cool piece. Too short.

  • The Colts Drum & Bugle Corps played this in their 2006 show.

  • @starcutie41532 1) Embouchure- master it. And do so in tune, please. 2) Start slow and work up to tempo, paying attention to technique and detail. 3) Repeat for each piece.

  • @BionicWolf4 shew its work i tell ya alot of work

  • @starcutie41532 It is stupidly easy lol

  • @Giqantic for a 8th grader .....not so much :3

  • @Coralgirldragon2 haha im sure i recently started playing the oboe PAIN!

  • This song is a bitch to play for woodwinds and percussionists.

  • So he is the cause of my hell. I'm playing this in band.

  • Loved playing this my sophomore year. Such an amazing piece. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to meet Mr. Saucedo my freshman year when we went to Grand Nats.

  • Hey! Is this Kennesaw Mountain's 2004 opener? Or 2002? Whichever year they came in second at Grand Nats...

  • @trumpet1823 i didn't realize this was Lake Braddock but yeap sounds pretty dang good.. trumpet1823 please feel free to attend the our concert on december 9th

  • I'll be playing this for honors band this year and it's the first time I've heard it. It's sounding pretty awesome :-)

  • ahh, I remember playing this in NCO under 12s. I've spent the last 5 years trying to remember it's name, so glad i've found it! :D

  • This song is also our opener for marching band, and is followed by whirlwinds. It is a fairly difficult song to play, especially while marching, aha.

The tenor sax part is awesome, especially when you're the only one :]

Hopefully our sound can get this pure too :s

  • @TheSunshinelove14 holy balls! the part at measure 101 is ridiculous! i played it for tenor in a tri-state honor band and we had 2 days to learn it. jesus.

  • @G8tr1522 I'm afraid I don't remember measure 101, but lol, it's a very intense song to learn, especially within two days x.x

and may I add, yay tenor players! >:D

  • this was our closer, my Freshman year in HS, and I met you at BOA Grand Nats in 06, was quite an honor, Mr Saucedo.

  • I like how you had the tubas when they come in on 13 and they have this 2 measure dotted eighth note run four bars after it. I did the math, that's splitting 18 sixteenth notes into groups of 3 sixteenth note durations = 6 dotted eighths per measure. That is not easy to count out, but I like how it sounds! Overall, a beautiful piece. I love it. Especially with the cool ending cadence the tuba finishes with. I can't wait to perform it! =)

  • This is the opener in our marching show this year. Love it!

  • @singerguy93 haha we played pulsation too i luv that song its sooo cool I luved how it went 4/4 ,6/8,4/4,6/8 etc

  • We played this for concert festival its a fuckin crazy hard song to do on clarinet

  • My high school played an arrangement of this piece this year, it was really fun. i was a snare on the drumline.. -Search Dreams of Niagara 2009

  • i love playing timpani on this piece

  • Were playing this in my HS wind ensemble.

The only part I cant play is what the french horns have at 1:40

  • OMG WHOA!!! this is soooo fast :O what is it 64th notes? :O rofl.

  • @musicluvr1112233

No, they're 8th notes. At the end, they're 16th notes. I've played the piece earlier this year in my high school band.

  • oh ok :O is the tempo like super fast then?

  • @koroshiiya is the run at :21 in the clarinets that trades off to the trumpets triplets? or is it in 6/8?

  • @singerguy93 The whole piece is in 9/8.

  • @RichardSaucedo Ahh. That makes sense. I absolutely love your pieces. My school is currently playing Pulsation (in symphonic band) and Wind Ensemble is playing American Barndance and Whirlwinds. Your music is amazing.
