I wrote software called Blockify to automatically mute the adverts on Spotify, it works by detecting the title of the window, and automatically muting Spotify until the advert is over.
My software is small and easy to use, with no installation or setup needed.
Simply press a hotkey, this adds the company to a list of adverts.

Oh, it might not be available where you are, as far as I know it's only in the UK, Sweden, France and I *think* Norway, if you're not in those countries you'll have to wait for Spotify, sorry :(

Mest för att jag har alla låtar på datorn redan, så jag känner inget behov av det. Och där står inte antalet gånger jag har spelat låten, vilket jag gillar. Men underbart att ha på fester och så, och slippa reklamen som alla andra verkar ha ;)
