  • "Big hair, spandex and post processual archaeology". A sentence I never thought I would hear. :D

  • Finding out about a particular context and how material culture relates to it is one of the most fascinating tasks of archaeology....only comparable to the pleasures of analogy. Just joking. I find the cognitive approach really, really interesting. Thanks for the video, as usual.

  • Always enjoy your uploads. Maybe a bit too much use of panning on this one, but the content and wit are a great combo, makes for a very effective presentation.

  • Great job with this. I'm probably not the proper one to defend Binford, but I think it's fair to point out that the processual critique of cognitive archaeology is that it does not produce testable hypotheses, which was the ultimate goal of Binford and his ilk.

  • Very interesting video. Thanks for the education. :)

  • It was very interesting, even as I study archaeology on a postgraduate level these videos are gold worth as a recap or refreshment in different aspects of archaeology. Great for keeping my mind closing in on just my thesis and keeping a open mind about things :)

  • Neat vids. Thanks for the insights and fun.
