  • At first i was like: YEAH AM COOL AM GOING TO WATCH PEOPLE HAVE TOURETTES!!

But now i just feel like an asshole saying that :(

  • I did find this a bit funny, but after his speech at the end, I felt like an asshole

  • I don´t think it´s funny at all.

  • "NIGGER...NIGGEEEERRR."

  • I have tourettes and I find this funny...but I still don't like to be made fun of.

  • How long would a white guy with Tourette's last, if he were dropped in the middle of Harlem on a Saturday night? (Or - would you say his prospects would be better or worse than a 25-pound Maine Coon dropped into a rural village in North Korea?)

  • "about that, WOOP"

  • I wish people would stop posting comments making fun of people with tourettes.... this is onlu an act but people are just like him.

  • Damn, I remember this episode so well, I had to watch out for when it was rerun just to watch it again. :P

  • Did they consider you disruptive?

    "I don't believe so, no. n-bommmm N-BOMB!"

  • wow this is a very well act-- WOOP FUCK NIGGERS!!! ed scene...

  • Demons? You people are stupid

  • @BruiserBrody87 That's religion for you.

  • Call me a wimp, but this brought me to tears. I have TS as well and I deeply felt this man's rant.

  • @KamikazeChris33 i know the feeling

  • that's not funny at all

  • @minbari73 have you ever heard the mark wills song "don't laugh at me?"

  • did anyone notice the guy in the jury at 1:19 trying not to laugh

  • Yes. I Can absolutely understand him to burst out to laugh

  • this isn't funny at all, it's a very serious illness

  • @megwego But this scene is hilarious.

  • Comment removed

  • sucks to have Tourrettes i feel sorry for them people

  • whore slut whoop!

  • Thumbs up if you found out about this scene through the Alf bloopers!

  • NIGGER NIGGER NIGGER i got internet torrent, white trash!

  • good acting...made me feel sorry for the dude

  • Alf does it better.

  • I recall a bully in high school who still raises my blood pressure when I think of him. He was EXTREMELY arrogant, had "golden-boy" looks and was always bragging about how he "looked like Tom Cruise", what an awesome skier he was, ect.

If only it was possible to "infect" this dude with Tourettes... what a beautiful revenge that would have been! I wonder how long his arrogance would have lasted? Unfortunately, things like this don't happen to that kind of person. One more way the world sucks, eh?

  • His use of nigger when talking to a black man and bitch and whore when talking to a woman seem non-random. A part of his brain is intelligently, but amorally, matching insults to targets. Does Tourette's remove inhibition to say what you "really" think, or does the brain link words to people on a level that can be separated from a person's beliefs? Can you blame someone for thinking something, if he wouldn't have said it without Tourette's? Or is this part of the actor's portrayal inaccurate?

  • ALF did it better.

  • to pinkytm1:

ALF is real funny. Is it a midget in the ALF costume? If ALF is a midget, has anyone seen the midget that plays ALF?

  • @Stefan990 He is mostly operated like a puppet. Though in some shots of walking there is a person inside.

  • to pinkytm1:

So ALF is operated by using animatronics. ALF is funny. ALF should do stand up comedy.

  • @Stefan990 If you are going to reply to someone, you should hit the Reply button, type your reply in the box that appears, and then hit Post. The Reply button appears when you move your cursor to the right of the text. When you type "to pinkytm1", pinkytm1 will not see what you wrote unless he or she happens to check the page again. If you hit the Reply button, your post will appear here but it will also be sent to the person's email inbox.

  • to ChicagoSouthDan:

I do hit the reply button. The thing is, I replace "@" with "to ". I prefer having "to " instead of "@" next to the user name of the person I'm writing to.

  • @Stefan990 ALF was a character that appeared on a sitcom called ALF in the 1980s. ALF stood for Alien Life Form (ALF). ALF was portrayed by a puppet. I don't know if the person and puppet ever did standup comedy. And if you had replied to pinkytm1 using the Reply button, pinky might have seen your post in his email inbox and replied to your post instead of me.

  • to ChicagoSouthDan:

I did use the "Reply" button to reply to pinkytm1. I can prove it. If you hit the button where it says "View all Comments" you will see that my reply to pinkytm1 is under pinkytm1's comment. If I would have wrote my reply in the comment box then my reply would be above pinkytm1's comment. When I make replies I simply exchange "@" with "to ". If pinkytm1sent you a message that was meant for me then pinkytm1 made a mistake.

  • @Stefan990 Sorry for the misunderstanding. I received your messages in my inbox and I did not receive any messages from pinkytm1 by mistake.

  • to ChicagoSouthDan:

    No problem.

  • @ChicagoSouthDan Shows how old I'm getting; huge numbers of people who don't remember ALF... yikes!

  • @bjggjb I remember it, but I never watched it, and I'm sure I've watched worse shows over the years. And from what I understand, it was a fairly good sitcom. Perhaps there was something else I watched instead during the same time slot. I do remember seeing ALF on an episode of the Hollywood Squares. Also, I don't think people should be offended by the outtake. ALF was imitating the actor on LA Law, not actually calling anyone an N-- or an a--hole (another term ALF used).

  • lmao.......racial slurs...wonder if these people with tourretts never heard the bad words would they say them..hmm...

  • give this guy a emmy already

  • The weekend at Bernies guy had about as many lines as Weekend at Bernies.

  • to tryithere:

Laugh Out Loud!!! I was surprised to see Bernie from "Weekend At Bernies." That movie is classic. ALF did a great job impersonating this guy.

  • Not really funny as it's done very realistically although I never heard someone with tourrettes yell out different things based on the situation such as "nigger nigger" while talking to a black person or "whore slut bitch" while talking to a woman.

  • whore,slut,BITCH!

  • How is this funny? It's kind of sad.

  • @ufogate In a funny sort of way.

  • to ufogate:

This is funny because ALF does an impersonation of this guy.

  • @Stefan990 Your youtube page says that you have been a member of youtube since April, 2007. You should know about the Reply button. If you want ufogate to be sure to see your post, you should use the Replay button.

  • that's the saddest video i've seen in a while.

  • I have TS, and I can agree with all the things what's-his-name said in the video. Being "a guy with a funny disease" seriously cripples me in social situations, and it hurts to have people laugh at me when I'm not trying to be funny. So, you know what? I decided to try to be funny more often! It turns out TS is a genetic advantage in the world of comedy! WHOOP! WHOOP! OH BOY!

…Now if only I could get a girlfriend. Certainly SOMEONE must find my squeaky noises cute.

  • Is this 'The Event'?

  • Seriously? Can we get off our high horses and stop patting ourselves on the back for a second and realize that there's a difference between finding a video on YouTube amusing and actually going out and laughing at people with mental disorders? I may be too optimistic here, but I'd say roughly 90% of the people who laughed at this video (the first part anyway) would NOT do the same if they saw someone with Tourette's in real life. It's a SHOW that's being laughed at, not a PERSON.

  • @BaronvonCase "It's a SHOW that's being laughed at, not a PERSON."

Though I understand what you're saying, that's a weak distinction. They're laughing AT a person ON a show.

  • @jihadsoup It's not weak. There's a strong distinction between laughing at an actor who is portraying an illness and someone who is forced to live every day with the crushing effects of it. The worst laughing at this will do is hurt the actor's feelings. The real world's often an incredibly depressing place. If people want to come on here and laugh at a fictitious portrayal of something, then I think it's a hell of a lot better than having people laughing at unfortunate people in real life.

  • to BaronvonCase:

What people don't know is that tourette's is called by demonic spirits. If you notice, people with tourette's always say negative things like "bitch, slut" etc. People with tourette's never say anything good like "love" or "joy." Many people have been getting cured of tourette's by going to churches and having the demons casted out.

  • @Stefan990

I hope you're not being serious.

  • to InfernalApocalypse:

I am very serious. People with tourrettes are always yelling out curses and negative things. That's because the demons cause the people to say negative things. Many people with tourrettes have went to church and got the demons casted out. And never yelled out anything negative again.

  • @Stefan990 So superstitious drivel is the cure for Tourettes? Where's the documented cases in peer-reviewed medical journals then? (Your money-grubbing pastor's anecdotes don't count.)

I had tics (grunting, twitching, head-jerking) when I was 12-15 years old, and grew out of them (no thanks to your sky fairy... during that whole rotten time I NEVER prayed! If your god exists, why did I get tics in the first place?) IF I was "possessed by demons", well... they were pretty LAME demons methinks.

  • to bjggjb:

Many people like to believe that demons do not exist. But demons do exist and proof of that is people people suffering from a conditions that only makes them say negative remarks ("slut", "whore" etc).

  • @Stefan990 OF COURSE they only make what society deems negative remarks. It is the flouting of social convention; perhaps in a society where love and peace, and kindness were considered subversive ideas (ancient Sparta for example?) a Tourette's case would uncontrollably blurt things we consider "nice."

Be careful with that "demon possession" crap; it was the dominant story explaining dysfunctional behavior in the Middle Ages and look what good it did... burnings at the stake, witch hunts, ect.

  • to bjggjb:

Demonic possession does exist. Many people don't want to accept the fact that demons exist. Demons do exist and get inside of people. Tourette's is an example of how demons get inside of people and cause them to say things.

  • @Stefan990 Well, I say the tooth fairy exists and will swap you a quarter for an incisor. Prove I'm wrong (I dare you!) After all, your assertion is about as well-proven as mine, buddy.

  • to bjggjb:

The biggest trick the devil ever pulled was getting people to believe he does not exist. The devil does exist and so does his demons.

  • @Stefan990 And I say the biggest trick the church ever pulled, was to get the ignorant masses to pony up their hard-earned money to its useless, lazy, child-molesting priests. Even if you're a Protestant, you get most of your theology (especially demonology) from Catholicism; so you Xians are all the same really.

If you can back up your claims with scientific proof, I'll listen to you. Otherwise, you are like a grown man who believes in the tooth fairy, as far as I'm concerned. Ya dig?

  • @bjggjb bro you know what your talking bout people are just paranoided

  • @Stefan990 pfffffft. like you can PROVE it. what's your profession? a demon scientist of some sort?

  • @Stefan990

Post-hoc fallacy. Look it up. Faith healing is a sham.

  • to InfernalApocalypse:

The power of the Holy Ghost is real.

  • @Stefan990

Provide evidence for the existence of the Holy Woo-woo and demons and their power to affect neurological processes. I'm sure psychiatrists would be eager to go back to the Dark Ages.

  • @Stefan990 no, tourette is an symdrom. How can a Demon put something in a baby without a soul? It can't, it's just a symdrom

  • to Grayfox3214:

You may not want to believe that demons exist, but they do. And tourettes' is proof. And babies do have a soul.

  • @Stefan990 i believe demons exist, and babies do have a soul. BUT YOU DON"T UNDERSTAND IT. This is a SYDROM THAT INS"T CREATED BY A DEMON. BUT BY AN MEDICAL THINGY ! Satan or lucifer or who ever don't have intresset in giving the touret sydrom. God would punish you for this fake excuses, you can't fix every problem in church. Or blame the demons or hell on it, WORK FOR YOU OWN THINGS !

  • to Grayfox3214:

Demons do exist and so does the devil.

  • @Stefan990 Just like i said, demons exist and so does the devil. BUT SATAN OR BAHAMUT COULD GIVE A SHIT ABOUT GIVING TOURET. IT"S JUST A DISEASE. If you don't believe me, go to a medical or a univiserty to ask the signs and the medical information about this symdrom

  • @Stefan990 Maybe in your deluded mind they do. The rest of us call people who believe in that stuff crazy.

  • He said what we were all thinking about that lady.

  • Serious: Wow. That was fucking great, man. I was ready to laugh my ass off, but partway into it my smile drooped, and at the end I just related so much I couldn't laugh at this at all. This was great.

Joking: Wow. That was GOBOY N-N-NIGGER FUCKing great, man. I was ready to CUNT WHORE my BITCH, but GOBOY I just WHOOOP-WHOOOOP!!

  • lol lol the lawyer or whoever was so sad when the guy said nigger.

" :( whyd you say that sir"

  • This is hilarious, Tourette's guy sings Christmas song watch?v=3MB0ErR0KuE

  • "Will you marry me.....G'OH BOY BITCH CUNT I FUCKED YOUR FATHER!"

  • I don't really think this is funny at all.

  • As a mother who has witnessed her little girl grow up with tourettes I must say this actor did a fantastic job, I understand that the general public find it hilarious to watch, thats ok, from the outside it IS funny and I respect that. All I can ask is, that the next time you see a funny tourettes vid that you give just a little thought for these sufferers and their carers who go through this hell every day. Thank you.

  • @Squealer01 Despite the crude inane joke, I will. An understanding mind deserves to have at least that much in return. I've never laughed at these kinds of things outside the seclusion of my room, but, for whatever it's worth, you have my word I'll never add to their suffering.

  • @Squealer01 waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

  • I remember my brother and I immitating this scene for years when we were kids....I'm not proud of it now but it was a source of amuzement.

  • I like the guy playing one of the jurors cracking up...the actor must have just started laughing and they left it in.

  • @dtlotrl 1:18 Thanks for mentioning it I missed that the first time

  • Anyone would act like that if there was someone sucking them off underneath the podium.

  • This doesn't belong in the comedy category. There is nothing funny about Tourette's syndrome. This actor did a superb job. And the person who posted this just makes the point that too many people poke fun at someone who is different, even if he can't help it.

  • i tried not to laugh until the ending which made me feel bad...

  • I knew a guy in college with Tourettes, and we had to educate people. I also taught a student with it who was taking meds for it, but it made him VERY SLEEPY in class!

  • Piss! Piss out my ass!

  • Saw this as a kid and I thought it was kind of Funny then because back in the 80's it was the first time I ever heard of tourettes syndrome, but now that I'm older it's still funny because that guy is an actor, but I pray for anyone suffering through this illness. I've seen talk shows with people who have tourettes and they suffer greatly. Peace

  • One of the greatest ever TV series....brilliantly acted.

  • Best part, 0:47, fuckin hilarious.

  • only at a few parts was that funny other than that its a serious issue. now tourrettes guy is funny but i still feel bad.

  • Woop! XD

  • good acting NIGGER lol. wut a guy eh.

  • i feal bad for laughting at him... its a shitty disease but... dude..

    LOL!!!

  • My firend's Mom had this, but only the physical tics. She got it after giving birth (I don't know exactly what triggered it).

There are meds to treat this, but it made her sleepy, so she could only take it when she was going to sleep.

There are ways to manage this. There are therapists that can coach you to say "nickel" instead of "nigger", or "blip" instead of "bitch".

  • AHAHAHAHHAHA !racist! but funny

  • WHOOP!!

  • objection! burden! bitch!!!

  • :5 & :45

  • I saw this episode after Night Court..

  • Funny...but also possibly useful.

  • Where can I find the hilarious scene where Sheila Kelley's character said to Arnie" You have the morals of a flea....you would screw your own grandmother & sell tickets to it...there will be a hell for you to rot in. I wish I could remember it word-for-word! Just hysterically hilarious.

  • i just got that

  • Whoa. that's insanely good acting.

  • I didn't know tourrette's causes chronic spontaneous orgasms.

  • G'OH BOY!

  • "...about that.. ABOUT THAT WHOOP!" SO FUNNY!

  • OH BOY! They had a follow-up episode where the lawyers were helping this guy land a big business deal, so they had him hypnotized to stop the Tourette's temporarily while he signed the deal. Just as he signed the deal, the hypnosis wore off, and he started going OH BOY, and Douglas saved it by saying, "Oh boy oh boy oh boy - this is a great deal!"

  • I know it's wrong, but I can't stop laughing about this.... ABOUTthis WHOOP!

  • hahahah! xD

  • not all tourrettes are like this though. i know one lady at the grocery store who has it but it is not verbal. she does this weird swallow. that is her tick

  • GO*H BOY! WOOP!

  • Hahaha! There's a dead guy in the court!

  • He must know my ex. Whore, slut, bitch! Ha ha.

  • ITS BERNIE!! :-D

  • now i wanna watch the rest of this episode...

  • I actually have this disease and it bloows d!ck. It is very fking annoying and yeah.

I can tell you though it's VERY FKING FUNNY. I only have the twitching thing but yeah the guys who blurt out shet are fking hillarious. DONT GET A BIG D!CK! Lol I'm going to get spammed about me being a loser now but go ahead I'm never on this account. =] Hey I make fun of my own smelly mexican race that bloows ass and I make fun of my disorders. probably just me and stuff though...

  • Bitch!

  • Every time I watch a Tourette's Guy video on YouTube I laugh my ass off, as he is obviously faking it, but this clip shows the true nature of Tourette's and how frustrating it can really be, and this actor absolutely nailed it. Well done.

  • 1:27

    lol

    "ABOUT THAT, WOOOP!!"

  • It's not funny so much as it's informative and sad.

  • Austin Pendleton played the State Attorney in 1992's My Cousin Vinny, his character had a stuttering problem!!

  • I'm looking for the episode where Richard Masur plays a shady businessman who bilked an elderly widow out of her life savings who later suffers a heart attack in the courtroom while Jonathan Rollins was cross examing him,he later died.the episode was called Open Heart Perjury and aired in April of 1988.could you please add the entire episode?

  • I remember that one. The folks at the firm weren't too happy with Jonathan.

  • People who suffer from any disease are not funny!! What if it happened to you? Oh...not so funny now??

  • What is funny about a disease?

  • I got a VCR the day before this aired so when I got home from work and proceeded to watch L A Law, I had no idea that I was going to piss myself laughing at a disease. My favorite part is when he looks at the woman in the jury and says "BITCH!" for no reason or rhyme. I wasn't aware of the disease until this aired but since I am fully informed and glad that this aired for the educational purposes and the humor.

  • NIGGER NIGGER!

  • its ok..its part of his tourette's. that makes it TOTALLY and PERFECTLY ok.

  • i have touretts and theres nothing i can do about that, about that WOOOOO!

i shouldnt laugh at this, since my best friend has touretts but this is fucking funny!

  • It was really funny and really touching at the same time.

  • g-OH boy! Bitch!

  • OMG this is the funniest thing!! It's so wrong but funny!!!!!!

  • this wasnt a funny clip....it still makes me cry

  • This guy gave a great performance. That's what I loved about this show. Great actors.

  • Heeey, how did he just happen to say "nigger" when Blair Underwood was talking? As sporadic as tourrettes syndrome is suppose to be, was that coincidence or racist? (hehe) Only kiddin'. Hilariously cheesetastic!

  • BLAIR UNDERWOOD!!!!!! What a delcious surprise.

  • HEY!

    READ THIS!

watch my video of my local news station weather man falling on live tv and then swearing up a storn as they cut to comercial

  • Best show ever. It's too bad that a GOOD law show (Law & Order) inexplibably overshadowed the GREAT law show, and that people have forgotten how incredible this series was before the last two seasons. It even won the people's choice award in its worst season ever! How easily they forget.

  • There are ways to control it. I knew a guy with tourrettes who'd say "nigger" ever time he saw a black person, so they trained him to say "nickel-and-dimed" instead.

  • They brought the Tourette's guy back for another episode about a year later. In that episode, he even called Vanna White a bitch!!

  • She IS a bitch, you know..

  • funny as hell....my cousin has tourretes he's an olympian.....it's sad yet funny ya know?

  • That's not funny...it's sad. Poor guy.
