  • So that's how Ling Tong uses nunchaku

  • It took a bat one hit to do the same amount of damage that required three from the nunchuck....and yet unlike the nunchucks, bats aren't listed as being illegal for private ownership in certain states. Irony much?

  • @ronin6401 By your logic, hammers, wrenches, and everything else of the such that could be used as a blunt weapon should be banned. Nunchucks are used specifically as weapons and are much more easily concealed than a bat. A bat is usually used for baseball, and much less for beating the shit out of someone's head. Consider what the item is used for before making such a stupid remark.

  • @Asahiko2 I wasn't making a statement about banning blunt weapons shit for brains, it was a comment about how stupid some states go in regards to weapons control. Now if you don't mind, I really must get back to skull fucking your grandma

  • @ronin6401 cool story bro, you must be retarded as shit because you obviously don't understand the difference between a nunchuck and a bat. personal attacks now? umad?

  • Quand je travaillais à la PJ à Paris, j'ai eu l'occasion de voir une meurtre au nunchaku. Le pire c'est que l'intéressé avait été massacré dans son lit.

  • I hit myself in the shoulder with my nunchucks, i can relate to that dummy.

  • Don't bring a gun to a nunchaku fight, get your brain imploded.

  • isnt that the dude from silent library lol

  • well............................HES FUCKED

  • @stalingrad32 i think your right not being racist, he looks just like him

  • isnt that the dude from silent library

  • He dont have the correctly way to grap a nunchuk for maximum range and power, he grap the chuck in the way of freestyle not in the way for fight. ( at the extremity of stick)

  • @MartialArtistJrm Agreed. It's simple physics. Using an analogy, if someone was kicking and you wanted to block, is it easier to block at the foot or closer in? Closer in, of course, because there's less applied force the closer to the center you get. But you have to balance things for combat technique of course.

  • where to buy this testing dummy

  • I use nunchaku on a daily basis in training. They are seriously deadly weapons.

  • is that the guy from silent library

  • poor jelly guy

  • Americans

  • people go and watch felony fight nunchaku that's the real deal.

  • omg!

  • ...Suddenly, Michealangelo is alot more threatening. Poor foot.

  • I notice a few other people have also noticed that this is the guy from Slinet Library!

  • and the moral of the story, dont crack people over the head with nunchuks.

  • Imagine the damage Bruce Lee could do/did

  • hey its the guy from silent library :D

  • Isn't the narrator that guy who narrates half of 300- the guy who losses his eye?

  • wouldn't want to get hit by one of those...

  • silent library???

  • @bonusboy23 That's What I was thinking. Is That him?

  • ZERO KAZAMA!!!

  • I wonder why they got a pirate to do all of the narrating?

  • @MrGoldfish1984 its actually thats 1 eyed guy from 300

  • @MrGoldfish1984 Hes a spartan.

  • @MrGoldfish1984

Do you even know what a pirate is?

  • @MrAsianStuff ....what a stupid question.

  • @MrGoldfish1984

    A lot of people don't.

  • @MrAsianStuff I will have to disagree with you on that.

  • @MrAsianStuff Give me your paypal account and I will transfer you money in return for you shutting up.

  • @MrGoldfish1984 its the dude from the movie 300 ... same narrating voice haha

  • lmfao @ the ppl who said Libary lmao

  • SILENT LIBARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @9521johnnyboy @Adam77129 LIBRARY, fucking retards.

  • @SpaztallicA ok so i left out the the R in library dont mean u can get all pissy about it, nigger

  • how many nunchaku licks? 1...2....3 (CRACK). Three!!

  • this guy is from silent libary :p

  • this guys from silent libary.....

  • WTF

  • Maybe if there was brain inside the scull it wouldn't crack up.He would get sirious injuries but not this

  • ^^ I farted as the head crushed!

  • Dear Santa....

  • More damage would have been inflicted if he had used the correct strike surface- the last inch or so. He was hitting with the center.

  • This wasn't about show it tested the strength of the hit, and it does more damage because the swing end of it doubles the strength of a one stick or rolling pin

  • See how all he did was over arm swings with no fancy shit, could do that with a rolling pin.

  • hes shit at using the nunchuck, hes just randomly flailing his arm. where are the skillful nunchuck moves?

  • meant to to put an = sign back there...

  • lastly since you can either use it from a still or "flowing" (ur still moving the chucks) position you create a multi-layered defense that's hard to exploit. and its smaller size makes it harder to track visually. the worst hit is always the one you never saw coming.

  • ...type of flicker motion. like if he wanted to just pop someone once on the nose) and its more versatile as it can be used to block/trap other weapons/limbs and choke out an opponent. and be honest with yourself, if someone cracks you across the head with a pair of oak/aluminum/mahogany/poly or stainless steel chucks. do you really think you're gonna get up and keep fighting? and remember while not having as much mass as the bat you can swing it faster. speed+mass+stopping power.

  • ...weaknesses. true it takes more skill to use but i personally think its more effective. for multiple reasons. 1 its better in small environments. 2. while the bat deals more damage from a full swing you gotta ask yourself "is all that really needed to bring down a human" answer, no. 3 as i stated in my previous post the bat leaves u open both before and after the swing. with the nunchaku there is no "opening" you can attack faster, it can hit with pinpoint precision (bruce lee favored a...

  • the bat has is longer and you have more time to see it coming. and since we're talking about warriors here, a decent warrior would see that there are two golden chances to strike when facing a bbb. 1 during the wind up, if u step in and trap before he commits to the swing you got him. 2 is after the swing, the natural inertia of the weapon will carry you far since its hard to stop mid swing. once the weapon passes you, step in and strike before he winds up again. the nunchaku lacks these...

  • What warrior face off was this?

  • is this the guy from silent library!

  • He's using a freestyle (spinning and tricks purposed) hand position, thrusting grip, doesn't move his wrist, does a stupid little spin, and doesn't appear to be putting his body behind the swing...

    Oh well.

  • My friend totally underestimates this deadly weapon. He says it doesn't really do any damage just some light wounds. :/ I will surely show this for him. :D

  • @Oosif im impressed by your training but to learn we cannot be taught we must teach ourselves read the book of 5 rings

  • @Oosif OK I will Tell you couple things to check out one is a book by a man named Joseph C. Hess, and the other is a demo by Nishiuchi Mikio he was trained in the Matayoshi style of Okinawan kobudo.

  • @toxi87 You may also want to check out Fumio Demura

  • @toxi87 Sorry the book by Joseph C. Hess is Called Nunchaku in action.

  • SCILENCE!!!!!

  • ive been taught to use nunchucks at the age of 4...

  • RIP dummy.

  • He's the guy from silent library!

  • I want all these fanboys to understand something. The nunchaku is simply a one-hit swing weapon. Take a look at how it bounces back after the hit during the slow motion. No control after it bounces back.

This is not a fucking combo builder weapon. It is inferior compared to many other weapons which have gained mass superiority.

  • @killyouin1punch "one-hit?" Man you missed something.

When you perform a hit, absorb this "loss of control", counter moves, chaining, you can hit more than once in this video does not look anything like that.

If he had done all this, that head would not be there.

Sorry but this is my opinion.

  • @NUNCHAKUSPK I've used nunchaku before and I got that same bounceback result and hit myself with it by trying to consider "follow-through", and the supposed "recovery control". Got hurt both times.

Sure, I don't doubt the STRIKING power of nunchaku. I see you do a lot of "freestyle" nunchaku, but you don't hit anything with them. Until you can post a video completing actual strikes and combo building along with follow-through without having to "recover", then I will eat my humble pie.

  • @killyouin1punch lol you obviously dont know the nunchucks. the striking point is the tip of the free handle. if you strike with the whole handle then it becomes a so called "one hit weapon" do your research!!!!!!

  • @BUBBLYK1TT3N5 Have you not read my comments? I have used nunchaku before and not stupidly yet still got hurt using them!

I looked at your videos and I assume you play too much Soul Calibur 3. Otherwise, provide said research to prove me wrong or make a video with your toaster proving that nunchaku can become a competing weapon using the guidelines I listed to the previous poster:

Strike repeatedly, combo build, follow through, no recovery moves, in that order. Real life, by the way.

  • @killyouin1punch lol i played sc4 and i keep life and video games apart. i use nunchucks in my dojo. so suck it =D

  • @BUBBLYK1TT3N5 I shall only "suck it" when you provide proof of the following list I demanded. And doing "kata" forms in a dojo does not count.

Come on, wear your ovaries on the outside and record yourself in a full contact spar match against a bo user. I need a good laugh. Don't bother responding anymore until you post your proof, I'll just consider it trolling.

  • Where can i find the full version of this? After where he says 'its pretty much mush on the inside'? :D, nice video btw, love nunchucks haha

  • todo depende del tipo de nunchaku que se utilize y quien lo empuñe ,para mi es toda una descepcion que ese nunchaku cause tan poco daño en un cuerpo humano ,estoy plenamente descepcionado con el que pega los golpes ,es una niña

  • he's japanese and named Zero LOL

  • that's the guy from silent library

  • what was the pirrouhette in aid of?

  • Hey it's zero kazama of of silent library

  • Pathetic. Shit is made out of silacone.

  • @tallset2 yeah you want to be that silicone shit? id use a machete on you

  • @dyingangelo

    Stop acting tough.

  • @tallset2 im not acting.

  • if it was bruce lee he would have knocked the whole head off with one strike

  • 3 shots! what a pussy

  • this should've been demonstrated by Bruce Lee...

  • his biggest problem is look how far he is choked up on them that kills what ever power they have, not saying there some magical weapon that trumps all but for christ's sake its a stick on a chain it's gonna do damage if you use it right.

  • @toxi87 youre supposed to hold it up there

  • @toxi87 Actually, the "correct" way to use it is to have your hand as for up as you can to allow for better control. You would want to hold them like that if you ever used them.

  • i got hit by a nunchaku august 31 2009. my back of my head exploaded, and knocked out for a minute. i cant forget that moment.

  • Eternal silence in the library

  • He could've got at least triple the power off that if he wouldn't of choked up on the chain like that.

  • THE FAGGOTS NOT EVEN HOLDING THEM RIGHT

  • @Finpenora lol nobody holds them right anymore unless if its a kata or a stance

  • @Finpenora In facts, thr is two way of fighting with nunchakus ; Japanese (holding stick on the middle) and chinese style ( holding sticks like you see in this video), also used in Corea. This guy is using Chinese nunchaku and Chineses fighting style, so he is holding them right ;)

  • Isn't that the guy from 300?

  • IMAGINE THIS WITH STEEL CHUCKS!!!

  • @5740yrut I think steel would be too heavy for nunchaku

  • @Jameslikespudding

I had a set of steel nuchucks and they weren't all that heavy. But the set I got wasn't properly balanced so I sold it to my college lecturer.

  • @5740yrut I have 2 pair of steel Chucks , You don't want to know , If he Blinks He's mine ! One is solid Steel the other one is a Telescoping chucks. If he goes for his pocket to pull out a knife , it will never come out ! Not that I'm that fast , It's only my initial Reaction that IS .

  • @nicktesla45 Every pair of the telescopic ones have broken on me.

  • @nirvanak1234 They are NOT for hitting things ! They are only for real Use in case of an emergency . Maybe your pair was defective . But chucks are Not to be used as hammers and shit , Only as a weapon in a real emergency or you will ruin them .

  • @nicktesla45 Oh I never hit anything with them, I understand that all martial arts weapons are dangerous and should be used with precaution. I was practicing a few techniques with them and the part that connects the chain the the rest of it come loose and flew off after 3 days of training with them, I had two pairs and both of them done the same. I have a pair of wooden octagonal ones now which I've had for a couple of years.

  • @nirvanak1234

I guessing you've got the ball-bearing swivel sets. You have to grease the ball bearings to keep them smooth otherwise they will jam and the part which is connected to the chain will break off. You can get the u-swivel chucks. Which are pretty easy to find on the net for a good price. You don't have to bother with maintenance for those.

  • @BlackIceDragon I think they were ball-bearing and thanks I'll have to look those up

  • Which is stronger? A bat. But if an experienced nunchuck master (or whatever the f*ck they're called) got in a fight with some random guy who is good at hitting people with bats. The nunchucks would win. It's a quick repetitive fluent motion vs. one big strong motion that throws you off balance when you do it. Plus it would be very easy to use the nunchucks to disarm some guy with a bat. Especially if he's off balance after swinging.

  • @tony6537 Indeed. It's all in the skill of the user. All other things being equal (ie, no surprise advantage, random gusts of wind, etc), someone who has practiced extensively using a ballpoint pen will probably win against an inexperienced attacker using nearly any weapon. I would prefer a stick, but nunchaku are easier to carry and they do have advantages vs. a solid stick.

  • COOL I WANT A...... what it now calls.... TO TRAIN ON :D

    srry my bad eng

  • DEADLIEST WARRIOR! :D

  • jaw broken

  • i bet a brick or a 2x4 could do just as much damage

  • Hey thats the guy from Secret Library :D

  • kazama zero looks like a yakuza.

  • maybe i might not use these now..

  • is that Faramir narrating?!

  • is that the guy from silent library?

  • THIS IS A VERY GOOD VIDEO. IT GIVES YOU AN IDEA OF THE DANGER WITH THIS WEAPON. I AMA NUNCHACKUS EXPERT. I MADE A 3 MIN. BRUCE LEE TRIBUTE VIDEO (#22) PLEASE CHECK IT OUT IF POSSIBLE. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS FRIEND, IT'S REALLY INFORMATIVE. THNAKS, maurice

  • The low grip can generate much more power than the high grip. This demo should have been done with a low grip.. Fail!

  • which episode was this?

  • @vaultdude269 Yakuza vs mafia

  • @ContraiViet1217 i don't think yakuza really use nunchaku as a weapon especially in modern times the high-ranking ones I'm sure conceal handguns while the low-ranking ones would probably carry a bat or a small knife

  • @malevolenceXXXensues i know, but deadliest warrior did it anyways

  • @ContraiViet1217 they should've had the wakizashi and the bokuto atleast those were actually used by yakuza

  • @malevolenceXXXensues totally agreed bro

  • @ContraiViet1217 i know the bokuto you need some skill to use it and i think that would've had the edge over the bat as for the wakizashi and the icepick the wakizashi would obviously have the edge since it's longer and made for stabbing as well as cutting

  • Bruce lee can do this with his pinky.

  • Other weapons may have more power but bet the nunchaku hurts more, also its more flexible if used properly, it can act as a missile.

  • Isn't that the guy from Silent Library?

  • @gabeAKAfluffy Seriously wtf is he doing on deadliest warrior hahaha

  • @gabeAKAfluffy Yup that's Zero Kazama! :D

  • @gabeAKAfluffy holy shit that is him lool

  • its also worth noting that if a bare head, even if it didnt get mushed, even the first hit would be extremely painful, if not concussive, and thats on the cranium, which is arguably the toughest bone you have, hit the jaw, the neck, the wrist.. your in trouble a wrist struck with the nunchuk like that would be potentially able to simply brake his wrist, nunchuku also aloows grappling

but i think id still use the bat, more mass, reach and controllability, plus acts like a bo staff.

  • i really hate this video..they are judging this weapon by its force......just think about a person....a very highly trained person....enough to block a single strike with a gauntlet w/ a detachable arm guard...then threw a bone crushing fist to a combatant using a chucks....

  • @muker123 But compare Dream Theater with Dragonforce! DT is better. =D

  • so thats y theyre banned in boston lol

  • but is it not if you hold it at the end of the nunchku there is more power ? through science ?

  • loooooooooool thats the guy from silent library

  • Lol baseball bat takes no skill nunchaku takes a hell of alot of skill.

  • When some junkie fuck is on pcp and is swinging a needle around like crazy ill be glad that i have a baseball bat by my side, because i will only have to swing once. Damn weaboos.

  • bruce lee would have destroyed that

  • Yuuuum Muuush.

  • That looks like the Asian dude from Silent Library ! :D

  • O.o that gotta hurt

  • This guy just used high grip to smash a skull into itself. High grip allows for more control and speed. Now, allow me have my control and speed while I smash your head in with Nunchaku and you can use your low grip :)

  • push 6 ^^

  • i hate the presenter in this show, the only this he can do is shout 3,2,1 really loud

  • that guys from silent libary

  • can u put a mace or a bat in ur pocket or arm sleeve...didn't think so. >.> also...they look cool.

  • Are you retarded? If the fighters are evenly skilled, then the outcome is related to which one has the better equipment.

  • @RaidenTheAlmighty you are forgething about luck, situation, phycological state in a fight anything can happen

  • The point is, a baseball bat inflicts more damage.

  • The skill of fighter is irrelevant because they are assuming that the fighters are of even skill. They are basing their outcome on what warrior is better equipped.

  • @muker123 Im talking about the show, not about the real combat. If theres an untrained guy with a sword and a trained guy with a pen, the guy with the pen will obviously win. but this show is about weapons and their damage on a human body, thats the criteria. I won't even waste my time replying to you anymore because you clearly didn't read what I wrote.

  • @muker123 they are judging the weapon and not the ability of the fighter because that takes the human element away from it and makes it objectively measurable. It's their criteria, otherwise the show would be: "we cannot determine which is better, because this is asian and looks cool, so it must be super awesome and those shaolin monks can't be wrong, and this bat is used by ghetto kids and we don't want to sound racist." its about weapons and not skills

  • Agreed, NunchakuSFW. Deadliest warrior has many inaccuracies, and mismatches at times. At the same time, I've practiced Nunchaku for about a year now (2-3 years self-taught. So I count it as 1 actual year). Maybe it's just my lack of skill, but I would honestly prefer a baseball bat. You can apply the techniques, rather the distancing techniques used with a Nunchaku, to a baseball bat. For me, the bat's more reliable. Although don't get me wrong, I love the 'chucks. Very much so. Respect

  • hol................ holy shit!

  • too bad most people do not have a jell head, and some have a very hard skull, this will olny work on some and if you are skilled enough.

  • @muker123 i agree that skill surpasses power, but some styles are much better than others, all them fancy forms in kung fu are a complete load of bollocks,i should know because i studied it for 7 years until i relised it just does'nt work,i've been training in ufc style fighting for 4 years now and i can tell you that everything you learn works. if anyone dont believe me,go check out some mma gyms and compare it to shitty kung fu,i'm embarrassed to say i wasted 7 year of my life learning kung fu

  • @muker123 I totally agree with you ! That's why I cut the end of the sequence, when they compare Nunchucks to a baseball bat and conclude the bat is better cuz it delivers more power... Totally absurd to not consider the skill of the fighter, as you said.

Anyway, I keep watching this show, cuz despite of their awesome judging skills, it's very interesting to see what a weapon can do to a human body.

  • @NunchakuSFW They are just comparing power of the weapons... You guys assume that the nunchuck wielder would destoy dude with the bat just cause you assume hes more skilled. What if dude with the bats been studying Kendo? That's skilled as fuck.

This show shouldnt be taken seriously. It's all history and we have no way of proving the best Monk/Ninja or w/e can beat say the best Gladiator.

  • @NunchakuSFW -I agree, but still like this show because it shows how fragile human body really is. For that, if it's a good information for EVERYONE to know, I don't know.

But for some people it might be good as they might not realize the power of for example light hardwood nunchakus, or an escrima stick, and may potentially harm/kill someone without the purpose. It's not like baseball bat, one hit in the head with chucks (as with other kobudo weapons) - and your dead. Period.

  • @NunchakuSFW All else being equal, a baseball bat is better than nunchucks. Hands down, no argument.

Nunchuks fall under the same distinction as fighting styles such as Drunken Fist, or other weapons such as whips, where they are much more Art, they they are Martial.

Some fighting styles are simply more about grace and art then they are about killing people.

  • @NunchakuSFW I agree! The worst part is that they demonstrated the bat after Zero had already busted the head open with the nunchucks!

  • @NunchakuSFW I dunno... I think the idea of being able to do more damage with less skill would make the bat a better weapon. You don't need skill to effectively wield a baseball bat. I would only take nunchaku against and unarmed opponent barring any another choice of weapon, and I'd probably be better of empty-handed.
