I just don't know how this woman can live with herself. If I'd killed my child, like she has, I don't think I could go on living. I have a young daughter, aged 16 months, and she is my everything. After hearing most of the testimony during this trial, this is my take on it. Casey was at home alone with Caylee and she accidentally drowned. Casey panicked and instead of calling 911, decided to duct tape Caylee and wrap her in a blanket and several bags to make it appear like an abduction/murder. She put Caylee in the trunk of her car. When decomposition set in, she dumped the child in the swamp and headed to the dumpster. There she placed a bag of garbage in the trunk and abandoned the car.

You can not prove sexual child abuse because there is ALWAYS a conspiracy of silence between the victim and the perp. What you can do though is look at the behavior of the victim. Casey displays numerous symptoms, that is very obvious to anyone that knows anything about PTSD. You can also look at the behavior of the perp. I can see that you are referring to nothing new. As for George not calling 911 when he smelled the car, a "cover up" is an exaggeration, more like shock. They chose to speak with their daughter first after finding the car, when they didn't get the right answers from her they immediately called 911.
@beannie51: Secondly, as for Cindy, she gave the 911 dispatcher her honest reaction to the smell, yes, the smell of a dead body (and she was right). But give her a break. On some level they knew there was foul play, but it takes time to come to grips with the horror of such a reality about your own child and grandchild. After hearing most of the testimony during this trial, this is my take on it. Casey was at home alone with Caylee and she accidentally drowned. Casey panicked and instead of calling 911, decided to duct tape Caylee and wrap her in a blanket and several bags to make it appear like an abduction/murder. She put Caylee in the trunk of her car. When decomposition set in, she dumped the child in the swamp and headed to the dumpster. There she placed a bag of garbage in the trunk and abandoned the car.

Meanwhile at least one hundred other children have met the same or similar fates. What about them? No circus for them? Dress it up however you want American media loves to grab hold of a story pump it up, sensationalize it, wring every last penny and rating they can from it and then move on to the next story. You can not prove sexual child abuse because there is ALWAYS a conspiracy of silence between the victim and the perp. What you can do though is look at the behavior of the victim. Casey displays numerous symptoms, that is very obvious to anyone that knows anything about PTSD. You can also look at the behavior of the perp. I do not believe for one second that George tried to kill himself to be with Caylee. I believe it was because he couldn't handle the guilt.

Is it not absolutely apparent by now that Casey's father is the father of her baby? This is why he tried to kill himself. This is why the brother never knew about his sisters pregnancy. The grandmother killed the child as a cover-up which is why she lied in court about the google chloroform and neck-breaking searches. Its simple mathematics... the whole family is fucked up and should be prosecuted for the murder of this poor child.

Whether it was murder or an accident, for Casey to display no pain or remorse over it is extremely abnormal. No matter what the situation, a normal mother would have shown some signs of depression or guilt. She has proven to be cunning, manipulative, and extremely detached....those sound like the traits of a sociopath to me. No matter how imperfect anyone believes Cindy and George were as parents, this goes beyond anything they are responsible for.

You wil not get unbiased facts from these resources, they are opinion based only. The trial is being televized on CNN news. There are also several sites that offer actual copies of depos and pre-hearing testimony as well so that you can distinguish fact from fiction.

I have a feeling Casey was a troubled child Growing up.. I am not sure why Her family didnt catch what was wrong with her. Now why in the hell did Cindy and George Lie on the stand about not knowing Casey was 7 months Pregnant. Lee said, They knew but was told by Cindy don't tell anyone... It was a secret. WTF??? No one testified that Cindy or George had certain knowledge of her pregnancy, nor tried to hide it...as a matter of fact (and its recorded in various testimony), the parents were vaguely suspicious of their daughter's growing belly but did not assume anything until Casey confirmed it in June 2008 (2 weeks after a family wedding, at which others started to question her condition). Immediately after being informed, Cindy called family members and and also planned a shower.

@beannie51: I'm tired of the "its her parent's fault" story from everybody. Oh come on! Mothers kill their children...it happens in disturbing numbers. No one knows for sure why... some are mentally ill, some suffer from post-pardum, some never bonded with their child, and some simply are desperate not to be mothers anymore. I think its easier for society to believe something horrible must have gone on in that family than to believe she simply didn't want to be a mother anymore.

I would agree if they had been uncooperative with police, or gave false testimonies but they did not. think your issue has to do with the fact that they did not condemn their daughter in public. @beannie51: I have listened to them, I've also veiwed their depos, police interrogations, media appearances, and listened to their phone calls with the police (as well as watched the trial everyday). I can see that you are referring to nothing new. As for George not calling 911 when he smelled the car, a "cover up" is an exaggeration, more like shock. They chose to speak with their daughter first after finding the car, when they didn't get the right answers from her they immediately called 911.

@beannie51: Secondly, as for Cindy, she gave the 911 dispatcher her honest reaction to the smell, yes, the smell of a dead body (and she was right). But give her a break. On some level they knew there was foul play, but it takes time to come to grips with the horror of such a reality about your own child and grandchild. She never lied for Casey, but she did choose to hold onto "hope" that the situation was not as it seemed (I'm sure she wanted to hold onto hope that it was trash in the trunk).

There is a police interview& fbi vid.In the police,she mentions,before kaylee went missing, she was upset, looking for KC bc of missing$.Bank $,check from her elderly parents.the next part of the video,but if you check the time,its less than 5 minutes,the interviewer asks about KC's theft. Cindy says "I never said she stole". That was my first wtf moment, I pulled up the previous vid,checked the time.
